Yep, I just found a post by the hunter on another site. I think I would piss myself out of excitement to shoot a buck like that.

Well Adam, you better wear a diaper/depends if you ever go in my parents cabin. My dad was stinky for a reason I guess.:confused::o He has the best hunting stories and they change a little every time you hear them. I think they actually get better each time.:p

Yeah, Harry and I chat hunting a couple of times a week. I hear that walking into his cabin is like walking into cabelas. I can only imagine the money he spent back in the day doing all those hunts and paying for all those mounts. Your mom must really, really love the guy.

Yeah, you got to see it. The goat mount he has is interesting. I used to tell friends back in high school that the other half was in his office. LOL! DUH!!:D
Note to all hunters. Bears take up ALOT of room, better to see them at the ZOO.:eek: Or out the parents back door at their cabin.:rolleyes: My dad spent lots of time in the mountains and is there full time now:). I didn't appreciate it until recently. He is one lucky guy for getting out their and having my mom to put up with it. She ROCKS! Heck I would love it. She is actually really lucky my dad wants to be in the mountains.:D

Just give the hub a call whenever you want to come up. Cabelas is only two miles from our cabin.:D And all the hunting stories to go with it. There are some good ones!:rolleyes:

going to need some phone numbers again... my old phone died in my arms... :( i couldnt even save the contact list from it :mad:

ive been dying to go biking at your cabin... but i have been saving it for a fall ride with the colors changed! :D

Sounds traumatizing.;) It's amazing how dependent we are on our dang phones and how we hardly have any numbers memorized. Silly.:)

So fall time. We are there and your welcome on up anytime.

Picture three on the other side of the basin about a mile a way. I don't think the circle would work.;) It's nice having a 60X spotter!

Even the hackers at my work know how to mount a camera adapter to a spotting scope. I think you're holding out. Don't want to show your trophy till it falls dead off the cliff and take a 500 ft. tumble.

And lands in the truck:face-icon-small-win.................LMAO

As funny as that is, it is seriously my biggest worry! I have read dozens and dozens of horror stories of goats falling 300-1000 ft. I think that is one of the biggest challenges to the hunt....to be patient enough to wait for a good shot. Where they were today, there is no way I would have shot one...it would have ended really poorly.

I really would like a camera adapter for my spotter, but it's another $300 for an already super pricey piece of equipment. Next time come hike with me and I'll let you take a look through the scope.:p:beer;

Hey you Adam! you better keep us all updated, starts on the 12th right?!? I want updates whenever your home. After being down on the books from the 1st-6th of september my tag is still in tact, i'll let you know when it gets notched, hopefully thursday morning at about 6:45 AM
