DELIGHTED TO HEAR IT!@christopher Thanks for this. I just took my brother-in-law up to that area today and it was perfect, both for him learning off trail riding and for me trying to knock some rust off.
You were in my head the whole time...all the open areas were completely tracked up, the weather was meh, and the snow was OK...I bet most would complain.
We had a ball! We explored the open areas, then went straight into the trees where there were hardly any tracks (who would ride that far to just track up a meadow when there are big meadows down low???). Didn't have to work much at all to ride some pretty decent powder in the trees that was either untouched or had a decent reset.
Looking forward to exploring more of that area. I appreciate your info! We aren't good enough to ruin anyone's secret gnar spots, just the super duper hardcore meadow fluff slayers...so no harm, no foul, IMHO.
