Valdez hillclimb updates

I will be riding in my buddy's motor home, towing my white charmac enclosed trailer

1 black dragon (AK800VE)
1 blue nytro (recon_ross)
1 m7 not sure on color (m7 balls to the wallz)

we are leaving thursday night

Interesting reading in this thread, now i'm intrigued and thinking about heading that way with the RV. Is there going to be enough room to park a 22ft rv towing a 14 ft trailer? I don't really want to go down the pass into Valdez. Is the riding strictly all mountain or are there flats too? I've been to Valdez many times but only in the summer so I have no idea what the winter conditions are like down there.

Plenty of room to park and all types of riding. There are always little kids riding around during the hillclimbs. Hope you make and have fun. Look for me and say howdy, #746 Dougdanger(black Polaris Dragon 700).

Going to Chelatna Lake Lodge(west of Petersville). Helping the owner get some
supplies in there before the snow melts. We will ride on Saturday, but they haven't had their normal snow year this year. It will be fun anyway though. Not as much fun as you guys will have though.

We rolled in at 1:30am at the pass. Lots of people drove here stright from A-man. They were still up partying in the big parking lot across from the Heli pad. Mountain Sky hotel has rooms for $79 for the race. They have a pool, hot tub and breakfast.
Ran into Midge907 in Glennallen, nice guy, good to see him here again. Frost heaves sucked....might want to tie your stuff down good.

Still lots of room for parking.
Should be some good racing. I only signed up for a few...I cant hang with these young guys! Plus, you dont heal well when your my age:rolleyes:
We tryed to get Dash to sign up, but she didnt sign up in time.

give er heck robert....good luck..did doug make it ok? and 3 hours late?..lmao..that boy is going to be late to his own funeral...did he get the shocks on?

Anyone know about how long a drive that is from Eagle River? We are still thinking about coming down with the mh but I don't want to drive half the night to get there. Might go to the Igloo since that dirve is shorter.

The ride from ER would be about 5 hours to Thompson pass. We had a Avy benifit dinner last night with free beer (Keg donated by Moose's tooth):beer;
I tryed my best to get Doug & Johnny pickled so I would stand a chance today. Me & Doug have a grudge match....I figure I am just donating my money to a good cause:rolleyes:
