All brands need good skin rubbers. Like mentioned above, the catalyst chassis is so easy to ride off trail. So easy to balance and get through the trees and tight places. I love my matryx, but the catalyst chassis is better, just need to get it better on and off throttle. With proper ski rubbers (salazzking etc) the front end stops doing weird stuff.
No this is different. Ski-Doo ones are just a joke, they are very small and fragile and cause all kind of problems with front end as the ski doesnt want to stay leveled. On other brands stock work fine for most riders if you replace them time to time. All brands need good skin rubbers. Like mentioned above, the catalyst chassis is so easy to ride off trail. Was thinking it was clutching but by the end of the day it was falling on its face and threw me over the bars once
Seems like I end up with duds every time
The RPM limit is only during stage 1 of break in. If you have heat cycled over .3 hours (18 minutes) stage 1 is complete. So first ride today 5-7,000 feet temps in the 20's , right out of the bag I could see 8150 on the G8 , never held it their but was easy to spin her up , not sure what this rpm limit is mine seems to not have it ??? It did have the reflash at the dealer before I picked it up maybe that has something to do with it , ran really strong even new only got 1 1/2 hours on it snow is still iffy off trail .Ran it thru a bunch of heat cycles all good , and my exhaust springs stayed together![]()
