My 858 sux

Not sure if it’s up to your standards and if it’s a fix or good or bad but I saw it on the interwebs so I posted it lol. Bad news is the turbo is 6400 bucks so that’s a hard sale to the wife who thinks kids need braces and house needs siding or maybe she needs a a lot surgery (cry baby) . Still think it’ll be good for the right guy but man sled orices are coming down so you got some pe old to sharpen . Bad news for us sw Montana guys is it’s forecast to be 50 next week…that’s just wrong .

I saw that. I was thinking about their tune for the NA 858. May have to consider that at some point. $900 though, ouch. (includes the tuner)

The tune thing is kind of a racket. Got a couple extra vipecs, got three different blinky box piggy back styles, got a big shark, now I need another ibex box I guess

With proper ski rubbers (salazzking etc) the front end stops doing weird stuff.
All brands need good skin rubbers. Like mentioned above, the catalyst chassis is so easy to ride off trail. So easy to balance and get through the trees and tight places. I love my matryx, but the catalyst chassis is better, just need to get it better on and off throttle.

No this is different. Ski-Doo ones are just a joke, they are very small and fragile and cause all kind of problems with front end as the ski doesnt want to stay leveled. On other brands stock work fine for most riders if you replace them time to time.

my 55 miles at low elevation doesnt suck either. the kids like to do vertical wheelies in the cattails.

Was thinking it was clutching but by the end of the day it was falling on its face and threw me over the bars once
Seems like I end up with duds every time

Figure anything out with your 858? My runs like a sack of sh$t. Doesnt rev out and hold rpms. Stock clutching stock sled. Driving along it will only hit 7000-7400. Power valves set right and bracket was adjusted. Just a gutless whore. I think its a weak motor or servo motor isnt keep valves wide open while wot.

Sled has 300 miles and never has revved since new. Been in dealer twice already. Ready to sell it and get out.

Maybe someone can buy it as a parts sled since cat will likely cease to exist by spring along with any new parts being made and service will be gone.

Nope haven't done anything to mine.
Ordered the ibex tune but it never showed up
Still trying to buy a pickup to take it to a dealer.

Bet the new cat tune is similar to the ibex tune. Can anybody compare yet?

We might have enough snow in the big horns after Sunday to start poking around
