My 858 sux

I've got about 35p miles and 17.3 hours on my 858. Yesterday was the first ride after getting the re-flash done. Night and day difference. Before it would bog and sputter between 30-40 mph like crazy. If you tried to 3/4 pin it, it would most likely not be there all the way. Now it's smooth and rips like it should. Same plugs but have thought about changing them out because of the break in. Dealer said break in was 500-1000 miles wtf

Break in is not 500 to 1000. Another crappy dealer. It's like it's just a business. The owners and the salesmen don't know anything about the product anymore.

Regarding the low RPM, is that programmed in for a period of time?
Yes some sleds have a programmed governing. At least that is what dealer told me. First 18 minutes of run time, not idle, it is dumping alot of oil in. Then the next 3 hrs of run time still dumping some extra oil. By about 7 hrs you should be good to hook (per shop). According to manual, 300 miles for complete break in. Mine ran full RPM AFTER the 18 minutes.

It's a total of 3 hours! Right in the manual. Where did 7 hours come from?
