BOSS NOSS you Suck!!!!!!

If none of you have ever tried an R&M Seat you should ! I am happy with mine there are things I would change about it ,but it is a well built piece that took lots of time and effort to make.Not like a boss which is a cheap piece of foam with cheap material covering it . The fellas @ R&M delivered as promised and where easy to deal with . They are more expensive than boss seats but are worth it IMO. and I would bet when I call R&M with a problem they are going to try and help

Hello Everybody. Sounds like every body has alot of nice things to say. Just wanted to let you know a few things about our company. We have hired new employees to repair the customer service problem. WE are focused on helping you with your nitrous needs as well as lightweight seats. We have been developing our nitrous systems for 4 years now and are constantly making improvments. For those of you who got early systems, i am sorry, we tried to get every one updated, but it is hard whren you sell most of your products through dealers, or some body sells them to a third party.

Our new nitrous system has a nitrous powered fuel injector to eliminate flooding when out of nitrous. We also offer 100 percent consistent nitrous shots unconditional to bottle pressure or temperature. We are very happy with our new systems. I personally do all the R and D and they work very well on most all efi or carbed sleds,atvs,and motorcycles.

Now the seat story..... At our facility we have the ability to make so many seats a day without running our employees into the ground. We have a pleasant work enviroment and we like to keep it that way.

THe demand is much greater than the supply. Just like a ferrari you get on a list and get one when they are available. Our dealers get the first priority, and we ususally sell a years worth of seats by the end of february.
If you would like a seat please talk to your local dealer now so they can order enough for all their customers.
You can check our website for dealer locations. I am sorry we cannot make enough seats for all. We will try to ramp up production next year as we do every year. Please be patient with us we are not overseas manufacturers. We are taking care of as many people as we can.

Boss your missing the point!!! This whole thread was started because a guy was given the run around with a new product that never worked like it was suppose too. He was than told a refund would be provided and you cant even keep your end of the deal by following through. You need to get all your chickens in a row and figures things out. He is not the only one that has had issues and all you can say is we are working on it. You might as well be an over seas company with the customer service and products you offer. :mad:
 
I run boss noss and seats I have went down to the shop and got my noss taken car of right away lost a burst valve .I have delt with them on the phone and had great luck!!!!

Please don't compare your product to a Ferrari. It's not. A Ferrari is a masterpiece, a Boss Seat is just that: a seat for a $10,000 snowmobile.
 
My Boss High Rise Ferrari ripped less than half way through the season. 1 year later, I had a new Ferrari. I hate to say it but you talk the company up like its an Enzo but in all reallity it's just a 308. Magnum PI would be pissed.

UMMMM.......NO! i have read way too many bad things about crappy companies like yours (not just this thread...do a search...) You have been busy way too long....if your place is that awesome to work at, then why do you go through employees? you have been backlogged with orders for 3 years...mabye a good company that cares about its customers would get more employees. Im not in business or anything, but...I bet if the wait for your crappy azz seats wasnt 7 months to a year, then maybe you would sell more....more seats sold=more money in your crooked pockets!

the only reason boss is still in business is because of lack of competition. SKID PERFORMANCE....build them, and they will come. Your seat looks good, any plans for a rev (non xp)???

and i have added a quote in my sig...

i have had one boss seat, and i PROMISE, this will be my LAST boss product i will ever see. I will tell my buddy about skid's new seat....

maybe if boss really cared, they would hire a r & d person that could come up with a good product.

boss says....our stuff is perfect, it will work on anything...at least that is what the ONE person we have that tests our stuff says...

in all fairness to Josh(arcticman77) he is a very new addition to BOSS ind.
He comes in with the training and the know how to make sled go real fast.

He is a major step forward for Boss Ind.
Josh is a good guy.
 
Bossrev: Do you work for boss? The boss of boss? You sure seem to know many of the inside workings of boss..... (Not meant in a bad way. On the other hand, if your the owner, hiding behind a new employee.....)

You say Articman77 is "a very new addition to Boss". You know this how????

Arcticman77 says "I personally do all the R & D" at Boss. Artic's post reads as if it comes from someone who has been with the company for awhile, drinks the coolaid, and not "a very new addition...."

Arctman77 Also says "We are very happy with our new systems."

Wow, one paying customer out of how many systems on this thread alone, disagree with your factory opinion here? Good luck selling more of them. THANKS SPOOK!!!!

Rode with someone with NOS last weekend, and it's now on my short list for next years mod on one sled. Won't be buying a Bossnoss.




Disclaimer: I own a boss seat, and it is awesome. Faded real quick though. Bought it direct off the Boss man's web site.


I like many others ordered it at the END of the season and it took FOREVER to get. Some of my other sleds are begging for a better seat, but I will not own another Boss product based not only on this thread, but the experiences of many others. Besides as others have mentioned, the newer sleds are going to impact how Boss does business anyway. Rumor has it Boss owns some patents (on seats) that have prevented others from entering into competition with them.

Anyone know if this is true?

I see a serious business opportunity......

Spook, hope they make it right with you, and give you a full refund. Too late though IMO as it should not have taken all this drama to make them step up and do what's right.
 
this reminds me of the old saying, "it takes 10 years to make a reputation, and 10 secs to ruin one." sucks that it had to go down like this, but that is the nature of the beast in the customer service industry.
 
Ironic..as a small business owner....we all dream of being so busy we can expand....for boss to be that busy for this length of time and not to have at least doubled its output without loosing its 'quality' speaks volumes for its lack of leadership and vision..this company will fold in due time..sooner or later other companies will figure out ways to produce quality and quanity in like products....when boss showed on this thread and didnt immeadiately post with each and every complaint to resolve consumer issues it is a clear indication that the writing is on the wall...goodbye boss..you will soon be forgotten by the world of snow....
 
You guys are all high if you think this is the final nail in the Boss coffin. I have never had a bad deal with Boss 2 seats and a noss kit, I think my noss was a 1st generation Im thinking of putting it on my new goat.
I certaintly feel like they could do alot better in the customer service end, that is not my point. My point is this 4-M is not the Mecca you may think it is. There are alot more people in my area that are not on here than are. Threads like this will get the attention of Boss but have little impact to the consumer. It turned into a flameing rant. Now go ahead and let me have it. But like most peeps, Im not to worried about what is in this thread.
