BOSS NOSS you Suck!!!!!!

I've dealt with Boss and currently do deal with Boss. Used their seats and nitrous systems. So far haven't had too many issues(order delays etc) but for the most part they seem fine. Have a nitrous kit on a M7 based Cutler motor and it's flawless. Gonna install another on a similar sled here in the next few weeks.

One point to make though......the Boondocker box has failed the aforementioned M7 4 different times, whereas the TFI box has been great.
 
File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. That might get thier attention. It worked for me last month. Go to the website for your region and file a complaint,they will go to bat for you.

Honestly, Go ahead and try, but I went through that with a place selling truck parts on Ebay. The BBB files a complaint, but really can't do much more. I never got any money back, but of enough complaints come in and keep people from spending money with these a$$holes, I guess it is worth the complaint!

A perfect example to all.. Sounds like Reeb has a great working relationship with Boss. He even acknowledges a few minor problems, but still a satisfied dealer.

I hope some day we all can have that attitude towards Boss. Time will tell.
You will always have a couple people not happy. That's life. But if you can keep it at just a couple that's the key.:beer;:beer;:beer;

I have a BOSS saet and BOSS NOSS, and it sucks that they are so terrible because I love my seat! I love my nitrous too, but my bottle has always leaked a little when I first crack it open, but soon quits leaking. I haven't tried to get ahold of them, but 2 years later I probably won't. Anyone know of a different supplier of bottle valves?

Well, I finally got around to e-mailing BOSS about my bottle valve this morning, and Gus responded promptly. He said he would get a new valve out to me today, and gave me the autouization number to put on the box to return my old valve so they can get credit from the manufacturer of the valves. We will see how the new valve is when it gets here, but so far I am a happy customer of BOSS.
 
I don't work for Boss or have anything to do with their operations. I'm just a paying customer who's been treated well by them. This post is not meant to defend Boss in anyway (I already said my peace about them.)

What's funny about this thread, this website and the internet in general is that one person comes on here and gives his side to a bad situation and then all of a sudden people read something on the internet and they hate the business in question, without any factual basis. It's a witch hunt.

There was an old saying on this forum a few years back..."I always believe what Hesse reads on the internet."

Yeah, there could be a lot of people who themselves have had bad service from Boss. It sounds like that might be true. I'm not denying that. BUT as Teto used to say , there really ARE a lot of sheep on this forum.

And there are always 3 sides to every story. Yours, mine and the truth. Remember that, people.

Hesse? I would go as far to say take everything with a grain of salt.. There are tons of usefull information to be gainned on here, and the beauty is alot of others have payed, and spent alot of time doing testing to just give out the information. It saves you and I alot of money, and head ache's.

take it as you want just be cautious of some of the sources you get the information from. You can tell who knows thier S!HT, and who's full of it.
 
I see Boss has a guy on here to help out!

It's good to see that Boss is actually looking at their issues. I hope this guy doesn't get too overwhelmed with complaints. Because the people before him sure didn't care. We'll see..........................................................?

i believe the ONLY reason he got any real support from boss is because of this thread.

I have seen many BOSS SUCKS threads and when was the last time you saw results like this?

the effort speaks some, but i do think they could do more

If I sold a product, I would be checking the forums to ensure there were no dissatisfied customers. I would do my best to make sure everyone was happy. If i read 10 threads that said my customer service and fit and finish sucked, I would do everything in my power to make it better. After all, it aint your name on the product, it is MINE!

I would love to, but Im too poor to start a small business, plus lack of resources, time, ideas...etc.

I am just saying if you sell stuff, it should be good, if its not, you should do everything in your power to make it right.

Maybe now that Arctic Cat is working with Boss for seats on their Sno-Pro snow-check models, they can lend a helping hand in getting their business running the right direction?

Glad to hear things are at least getting better at Boss. I love their seats!
 
Just what I thought!

I sent arcticman77 a pm told him my issues. I also gave him my phone number so if he wanted to talk to me about it I would like to hear their reasoning. Maybe they (Boss) could do some "damage control". But, just as I expected no call, or even a pm back! I am sure he is very busy. For now I still have nothing good to say about Boss ind. -00's On another note, I wonder who will take care of the warranty when the new Cat's come with Boss seats? If it is Boss themselves, there will be a lot of pissed off Cat owners! I can't wait...............................

Most people seem to say Boss products...at least the seats are good quality but it's mainly their customer service that's lacking. Well I got a boss seat for the 1st time this season and it has already ripped on me.
Will boss even try to fix it?
I contacted the place I bought it from and am waiting to hear back.
I sure hope I didn't spend $500 for a seat that can't make 1 season!!!
 
I got a buddy that purchased the boss system for his M8, it still to this day does not work properly, the little brain box that it came with is the problem but boss will not fix it. He even had his dealer call and he got the run around, so the dealer pulled all of the boss stuff off the shelf and sent it back. He wont even sell there seats. If they keep this up I think it will bite them in the butt sooner or later, from what I hear the words out.
