BOSS NOSS you Suck!!!!!!

By the way for those of you who like there current stock seat but want a better material, Skinz is the answer and has most models available for immediate shipment.
 
My point is this 4-M is not the Mecca you may think it is. There are alot more people in my area that are not on here than are. Threads like this will get the attention of Boss but have little impact to the consumer.

I don't disagree with what you're saying 100%, but there are 10,000 people on this site, 5000 of whom have read this thread, and 3000 of those will probably remember this thread prior to buying an aftermarket seat/nitrous kit for their sled. I will definitely try somebody else's product first, prior to taking my chances with Boss's customer service. I know, I know...I'm just one man and that means I'm nothing to a company as huge and renowned as Boss, but I have to stick with what feel is the right thing to do.


Also, I'm not the kinda guy who needs a Ferrari to feel good about himself...I've got a Cummins for that. ;)
 
Bossrev: Do you work for boss? The boss of boss? You sure seem to know many of the inside workings of boss..... (Not meant in a bad way. On the other hand, if your the owner, hiding behind a new employee.....)

No I do not work for Boss Ind.
I do know the guy's at Boss ind. very well and have always supported there product. It has all ways ran flawless for me and the people I ride with.

Arcticman77 has been with boss for about 2 months if that.
But you did hit the nail on the head when it comes to the owner.
He hides behind his employees so much so that I would guess that he was standing behind arcticman77 while he typed that ferrari stuff.(it sounded way to familiar) I don't know Josh(arcticman77) real well, but what I do know of him is only positive. We have to remember we are talking about a 2 year old issue that did not involve him to start with. And it should not be the R&D guy's responsibility to resolve it.

KEVCO is absolutely right. By no means is this the final blow.
The majority of people I know that ride do not play on the internet and continue to get great working and designed boss product threw there respectable dealers.

I personally am not a fan of Jim(owner) anymore. I truly find him to be a arrogant, disloyal, spaz! But I do still find there product to be top notch and it will only get better with Articman77's help and I will continue to use it!

O.K. Fella's The upgraded version!!!

I have recently spoken to Jim, J.R., and Kerry. I am happy to say that Although it took every single one of you to get the results I needed. I got to finally speak to the owner.

Jim called me a couple nights ago. Our conversation actually went very well. I expressed my concearns, and explained to Jim why I feel I have been handled un-appropriately.

Jim assured me I would get the results I payed for. I did not sense any arrogance in the man. I am trusting in his promise to make it right on what ever we agree upon. As I have said in the begining I am not out to F##^ any one! I only want what is payed for.

Since my conversation with Jim. I spoke to J.R.. He as well assured me They would take care of me. Once they both listened to my side IN PERSON! I believe it was easier to view the issue's. Both stated they have no Idea why the "chick" had any part in the conversation that led to the thread.

As for employee staff, NONE of my business. I hope Randy is doing well selling vaccum cleaners in Russia! Chet treated me good. He at least responded promptly, and tried to do the right thing.

I am happy to tell you all that our negotiations are on a positive note. I have no one to thank but ALL of you!!! and your support. As soon as my system is up and tunning You will all get updates. I will elaborate on the customer service and support. I hope we all can learn from this?

My goal now is to try to repair my relations with BOSS as a whole. I will keep you all in the loop, Good and Bad. Boss deserves a chance to make things right with all of you, and me.

Again Thank all of you for the support. And Jim, J.R., and Kerry for the response.

Thanks for the update. Seems as if you're pointed in the right direction. What about everyone else? If it takes that much effort to get results, which are yet to be final, it's not worth it in my mind. That's my opinion and yes I'm bitter about my 16 lbs, prematurely ripped out and faded seat. Rather sit on a boat cushion.
 
I don't work for Boss or have anything to do with their operations. I'm just a paying customer who's been treated well by them. This post is not meant to defend Boss in anyway (I already said my peace about them.)

What's funny about this thread, this website and the internet in general is that one person comes on here and gives his side to a bad situation and then all of a sudden people read something on the internet and they hate the business in question, without any factual basis. It's a witch hunt.

There was an old saying on this forum a few years back..."I always believe what Hesse reads on the internet."

Yeah, there could be a lot of people who themselves have had bad service from Boss. It sounds like that might be true. I'm not denying that. BUT as Teto used to say , there really ARE a lot of sheep on this forum.

And there are always 3 sides to every story. Yours, mine and the truth. Remember that, people.

No disagreement...BUT, I have to decide whether I'm willing to chance my $$$ on a company that seems to have issues, or on one that apparently doesn't (on the outside at least). To me, it's a no-brainer.
 
Negativity rules on this forum anymore...it's gotten weird and, frankly, annoying to read through.

I put a post up about a dealer who went the extra mile...very few reads and no posts. Kinda funny who stuck around on here.

BTW - Most the guys that get bad service get it because they are aholes over the phone, which they don't talk about.

When things don't add up, there is a reason.

It sounds like they wanna keep it small. I can understand. Less headaches.

Here we go. My thread was intended as information only.. I was asking all of you if you think I have put up with the problems long enough.. And if my B!tch was legit??

Scott you think I am full of BS, good for you. I got the results I was looking for. I spoke to the MAN in charge of Boss. And its his job to determine my volitity. DONE.

Jim, yep I opened a can of worms alright. But do you think because of my thread, I contacted everyone else and told them to fill out a complaint? NO Sh!7 people talk about the negative more than the positive. This 4m was developed for "us" the sledders to discuss whatever we want. if thats ok with you Hillary! If you think I got on a phone and yelled and screamed at those people your crazy. ask Gus, Chet, Randy, Just don't ask the "chic".

Bottom line.. Will this help everyone else get the results they are seeking. NO. Will Boss step up and re-welcome OUR business? I tend to think so. And by having this Thread it has in a round about way helped all of people who have had problems.

I may be premature about the results I am expecting. But I am a lot farther than I was a week ago! and at least now they know my story, and by them reading and responding to the thread they know yours also. Now they recognize a problem that is hendering business. And all of us benefit from that.

We will all know soon enough if Boss has changed. I will do my best to keep everyone informed. Until then Form your own opinoin's by first hand knowledge. Not gossip!!:beer;:beer;:beer;

I have totally stayed out of this thread as the only experience I have had with boss was a seat from Freak, and he was awsome to deal with.......BUT........

I completely agree with how you handled the situation and this thread in general. If we cannot express problems on this public forum and just pat everyone on the back all the time, things would get alot worse.

I think you totally missed my point. I wasn't talking about you. I never said YOU were full of BS. I was addressing the people who came on here and said that Boss sucks, without having been part of a bad experience. I'm calling out the forum sheep, not the people with legit complaints.

ps, I think you meant "validity", and it came out sounding funny to say he understands how volitile you are. LOL
