Question: Worst sled you've ever owned?

My 95 XCR 600. Never had any major motor issues, but I couldn't keep the rear suspension together to save its life. For a sled with premium shocks it couldn't handle a single mogul without breaking your back.
Sold it to my brother, he dumped a ton of money into it and it still got waxed by other 600's.

I liked mine,.. I think the sled I liked the least was a 1999 MXZ 600... it was dependable but 340 Yamahas were faster than it... it was a major SLUG

dad has one of them... very dependable... but his hauls some major a$$, and has an amazing suspension

What a Bravo 340? Just kidding I had to do it.:D

lol... its all right... give him $hit about his sled all the time... him and i go back and forth all the time.

still on my first sled... but not for long. its a 99 xc 600 and that thing is the most reliable thing i have been yet... well over 4500 miles, never have been taken apart... just do yearly maintenance and go...

93' Polaris 750 Storm Triple/Triple was the biggest turd I've owned thus far. Back in the day of long track 133"/136", deep lug 1.25".
To be fair, :beer;there was a few days it would haul A$$

That was my very first sled  Triple piped!

I can't believe I stayed with the sport. It had no business being off the trail which is where I'd try to take it. I wouldn't get stuck. I would be "strip mining". I was always tinkering with it too. It was fast when it ran though.

I had a 550 fan cooled, wasn't a bad sled per say, but I bought it used for 200$ and it had some insane amount of miles on, she was a work horse though lol never let go of throttle in pow.. EVER!!!! .. eventually the clutch wouldn't disengage so you had to lift the *** end up to start it... which we did for some time.. lol.. I gave it away.

This was my 2nd worse sled. It always ran, 4000+mi when I sold it. Ran real hard at low altitude, but never could get it to run well up high and seemed like you had to re-jet every 1000' up or down to keep it running decent at all.
Rear susp broke twice; in retrospect, should've put softer springs in all around. It was sprung harder than snow x sleds today!
Biggest POS was my '79 Kawi Invader. Would run hard for about 6hrs after leaning out a piston and burnin up.....then POW same thing over again. Cleaned carbs, bigger jets, twice, never held together.

1973 Yamaha GP 433 :D Good thing is was just more of a restore project. And right next to that would be my 08 D8. Not that it is a bad sled. I love the chassis. It just has so many quirks that I'm afraid it's going to leave me stranded.

First sled was a 1981 Yamaha SS 440. Simple dependable fun.
1986 Yamaha Phazer. Quick and light. Suspension could have been better.
1995 Yamaha Phazer mountain light. Fun Fun Fun, just couldn't climb
03 800 RMK. This would probably be my favorite. :beer; Ran flawless from day one until I sold it.

Definately my 05 900 Fusion. Blown motor, belt burning, electrical problems, couldnt get ski pressure correct, vibration, terrible resale value...

I hate to bash my first sled as it was the sled that addicted me to sledding, (don't know how I stayed with it on this crapper) but I had a 1997 670 summit. I don't wanna say it was a turd, but we called it the "summtimes" because it only "sometimes" came home under it's own power.(only twice in 1 season) sometimes it didn't come home at all!! what a peice of crap!! it was the only ski-doo I have ever owned and probably the last!! (good bud owns the arctic cat shop in town)

.......but I do credit the "summtimes" for addicting me to snowmobiling, thank you "SUMMTIMES"!:beer;

o i almost forgot the other POS... i didnt own it but my cousin did... 2003 440 proxr... that thing would never start, needed carbs cleaned weekly, rebuilt motor twice those failed, put a new one and now somebuddy else owns it.

whatever i ride.... it doesnt matter, it breaks.

my dad had an f7 with 4000 miles on it that never had a single problem.... i rode it one day while my sled was waiting for a crank. the f7 had the ignition coil go on it in the middle of a ride.... those things dont just break, im sorta cursed with sledding, i cant stop, and i cant stop breaking things!!!

1990 SkiDoo Mach1 583 136, no need to elaborate.

LMAO^^!!!! I still have my dad's 91' in my shop, would make a dandy boat anchor;)

My worst sled was 96' Storm 800, ANY snow hit the pipes and it was like riding a 120xc, needless to say it went down the road fast!!!!!
