Fremont County Winter Trail Report
So happy to report it is snowing! The groomers are out, however, there are some areas where more snow will be needed before routine grooming will take place. Rocks continue to be found throughout the trail system. The Island Park business area is still in need of considerable snow before a trail can be put down. Keep the snow dance going.
Today, January 9...
Watch for the groomers to be out during daylight hours as they attempt to clean up some of the damaged trails.
No guarantees, but a serious attempt is being made to groom Stamp Meadows, Big Springs, Trude Trail, the Old Highway Trail near Elk Creek and the Flat Rock Trail.
Groomed the night of January 8...
Two Top Trail
Black Canyon Trail
Rea's Pass
Meadow Creek
Thank you for your understanding as we hope to get the grooming season officially underway.

==============
Rode Black Canyon and Big Springs trails yesterday in and out of my favorite tree area to play.
Black was in pretty good shape, Big Springs was a mess.
There is still just not enough snow DOWN LOW for the groomers to keep it in good shape.
PLENTY above 7,000ft though.
This week should be GREAT!!
