We don't get rideable snow here very often lately. Leroy is about 45 min. South of Rochester mn. I can see into Iowa from my house.

The snow must have set up quite a bit in the last couple days. We got to sawtell today at one and went for a spin this afternoon. We didn't go too far today but it's kind of go anywhere snow. Hope these next few days dump some here

Everything under 8000' does seem pretty setup. We found great snow today above that in the trees.

Yep, getting to be that time of year. gotta get the pow as soon as it falls, it sets up FAST.. Good time of year to start using your sick days you saved for the spring powder dumps..

We rode around sawtell and then two tops today. There's lots of snow but it's all set up. It was snowing pretty good around two tops so maybe if it keeps snowing our last day will be worth it.
On a side note we have one totaled xm, two bent a arms, one axys and one alt impact, I hit a stump under snow and sheared a slide retainer bolt which I had to drill out, and a bent front b&m bumper from me running out of talent on a crusted over side hill. How's that for one day of riding

Ha Ha nothing will tell you better, that your out of shape than sucking air at 8K feet pulling out stuck iron..... good times

Somehow we were blessed by by the snow gods this year. Island Park today the snow was crazy. This year has been by far the best year ever for our trip.

We found pretty deep snow today north of centennial loop trail. No tracks up there and not many but us out there as well, looked like a storm rolling in as sun went down. I hope there's another foot up there tomorrow!!

Unfortunately we headed home this early am. Almost had an elk join the ride just outside of town at 4 am but luckily missed her. Then the gale winds across North Dakota all the way into Minnesota pulling a 24' enclosed was a white knuckle drive but we made it home safely after 16 hours. Anyone heading there this week is going to see some great conditions we had an awesome time and will be back . Yesterday's riding was epic.

We went back to the same spot today as yesterday had good snow again untracked all day. We could probably spend all day tomorrow up there as well it keeps going into new areas all untouched. It was snowing hard again all afternoon. Tomorrow is our last day then we are headed back to mn. I would put up pics if I knew how

Good snow in keg springs area today , was fairly solid till 12:30 then we started sinking 8 to 10 on flat areas.
Fairly soft all day in the trees ,powder up top but no visibility

Spent the day up in the burn zone on top of Black Canyon.
The snow wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either.
Good vis all day long, very low wind, mild temps.
Everyone had a good time and there were no track and no other sleders to be seen anywhere.
But it sure would be nice to get a healthy spring dump.

Two weeks ago I thought with this much snow (4 Ft on the gauge) I'd be riding on my birthday (May 6), but wow what a difference a few days make... I'll be lucky to ride into April at this rate. Last year my last ride was in late April, keeps going like this and that aint gonna happen... Went out to Taylor Creek yesterday, the lots are muddy but the trails are holding up well (not much traffic). Corn snow in the PM be on top of the snow one second, be two feet down the next, lot of water content...
