First car!

First car

My first car was a 74 Chevy Vega wagon. I put 7 motors in it.They didn't like the high RPMs.I got the bright idea to put a 350 V8 in it. That made it the funnest car I ever had. So what I would do is get nice cheap car and fix it up to where you want it. Put rest of the money in the bank.

I am 16 and my rig is a 97 dodge 1/2ton. Fortunantley it gets the panties off, if its black and has 20s it helps :faint:

Paid 4k

You mean the pampers:face-icon-small-win And it doesn't count when you are alone in the truck.

And we all know you are spoiled!

30K on a vehicle for a 14 year old? Are you kidding me? Our family van, my pickup, my daughters car, our camper, boat, 2 snowmobiles, fourwheeler, and the money we spent to adopt our 2 kids does not add up to 30K. My first vehicle was a 63 1/2 Ford Falcon Futura I paid $100. I am almost 50 and have never spent more than $5500 for a vehicle.

I don't for one second believe that. I adopted my oldest son when he was a still wet newborn and it cost 25k.

We went through Lutheran Social Services. The first was $6500 (16 years ago) and the second was $8500 (11 years ago). Private adoption was running 15-20K at that time.

Wow... this thread got side tracked quickly!!

Take it easy on him... I'm glad we have some enthusiasm from a younger crowd on here.

Having a cool car is def a plus, but the coolest guys in my HS/Univ often had "Beater" cars and all the ladies they could handle.

Here's my take for what it's worth.
Enjoy this time of your life, worry less about what you drive and more about the experiences you have and the people you share them with.

That's cool. We went private, figured it was the best way to get a baby. Then 4 years later, we got the second son but ours naturally. God works in mysterious ways.

That is definitely true. The guys with the girls don't have time for cars or to wax their 20" rims. Also, they let their women drive them around (paying for the gas too).

Don't hate the player, hate the game.. lol

Exactly, don't waste your money on an expensive first car. After college treat yourself to something better...you'll appreciate it more too!
