Fernie avy

my condolences go out to everyone, rode harvey pass last spring and it really sends a chill down my spine to think about it. Prayers go out to everyone involved.

Dear Zacs
Thankyou for that shameless bit of "self promotion". In the future could you please wait until we have had time to grieve for our friends and nieghbors before trying to make a profit.

Dear Richard(Dick) (I am sorry for your sorrow, we are all saddened),

Instruction is pricless. Cost of classroom space, material, and time make a course worth the price of admission. All of the instructors that I have encountered are not looking for a buck, but to make sure that all of us are safe in the backcountry. If they buy themselves a beer after, great, its on me.

Zacs, keep up the great work. I have completed level III training and the knowlege is priceless. I am constanly looking at stuff and pointing out to my buds what I am seeing. Suttle hints of conditions that I would have never picked up without people like you. Not just looking at the slopes, but other signs like settling, snow falling off of trees, winds, sun etc.

Their is so much education out there, I appreciate you folks. You save lives!!!

Everyone who owns a snowmobile feels deeply for the loss of these eight men... I will vouch for Lori and Randys compassion, if you ever spent 5 min. talking to her you would feel the same.

I also have to speak up for Lori. I took the AST1 avy course last year and it is apparent that both she and Randy do it to help sledding enthusiasts be prepared for avy safety. They both have a passion for it like no other. If it were for money, they would not be still doing this. It is all about saving lives. PERIOD.

Clip of the funeral for the 8.

I like the Cat's pulled up on the stage deal... that's how I'd like it for myself...

Ditto, I was in the same class as Mark. These Lori and Randy are in it to educate and make others aware.

Touching tribute to the riders in the video clip posted below. That is the nice thing about growing up in a small town. The support for each other is comforting and strong.
God bless.
