Big iron shootout

We got there at 6:30 in line, didn't have the good hook up like "Sheriff" but was only 2/3 full when we got in. Great time overall and had a geat ride on Friday just to bad weather turned crappy for Saturday.

Should have stayed & rode Sunday...It was awesome.

I heard but work calls. What was the outcome of Kyle on the Doo and "Milk and Cookies"(sorry forgot your name) on the RX1.

I believe that Humphries (RX1) had to Airlift. He wqent over the handle bars in a hell of a hurry at the top...

BIS Shootout SkiDoo Turbo

Thanks to Klye and the rest of the Micku's for showing what Powder Lites Turbo kit on the SkiDoo can dooo.
Only low boost and it flat out rips for a new sled and turbo kit.
Randy (Fuji) good to see you cranking the boost on that Yamaha and the race is on by the looks of that Doo!

Kyles sled rocked with that Powderlites turbo, scary to think what it will do on high boost. Any plans for a Cat M8 turbo kit from powderlites?

Was there any issues with the 1000 person limit or the parking, What time did people head to the parking lot?

We got to the Boulder parking lot at 4:45am, and we were 6th in line. Talking with a few of the peeps there, sounds like the first guy was there at 2:00am. They had the groomer blocking the entrance. Kathy mentioned she kicked out a motorhome and a few others Friday night too.

Saturday was blue skies and sunshine for most of the morning we were there. We had to leave around noon due to the day job calling me back for Monday....

Just saw some good photos by Best Impressions on sledshot.com. It was a great weekend that will go down in the books! I didn't see any tracks in the cut blocks on my way down at the end of Saturday!! Didn't see much garbage either. I was stoked! Nice work everyone!

Dave i was at talking to Buck Lake Bob today and he heard the doo was running strong at bis and he said the race awhile back at 100mile was giving the nytro all it handle on uneven terms.

good on you! :)

Milk and Cookies on the Yamaha and Kyle on the Skidoo absolutely ROCKED... Awesome display of courage and skill... You both took over the show... Love to ride with you guys again...

Big thanks to the many volunteers, Thanks to Randy for his big contribution.. Thanks O-Zone and the sponsors and Revelstoke society .

Well behaved crowd, all went great in my opinion... Too bad the weather didn't work out, but it was a really good time anyway... Great to see so many great people on the hill at one time...

Twisted Turbos and Canadian Power Machines , great product, great people... cheers everyone

you missed out matt, too bad! all the good photage was definatly on sunday in the monster bowl!

I don't even want to hear about it. Glad to see the weather worked out for you guys, and too bad I had to run into you on the trail on my way out. :( Bummer. I sure hope Veedy or Tom was there to get it. :beer;:beer;

I'm just going over what footage I did get. Dude, that was an awesome climb out of the 90 on Saturday!!! Class act!

See ya in a couple weeks!

Had a blast. Weather on saturday not so good. But sunday wow blue skys and lots of snow. I didn't notice any tracks in the cut blocks or and garbage laying around. Can't wait till BIS 2010!!

yeeah...........but who were the winners?

Where's Rutt-King?

I would imagine Dave is sleeping. I think he went 3 days without (and he looked it).

As far as winners, If it was a saturday only event then the climbing would have to go to Humphries on his RX1. He successfully climbed at least 4 chutes & also had the most ingenious climb.
If he didn't listen to Dave & went to Turbo for 1pm along with several others(Klippenstein) he would of had a chance at Monster where they were filming.

Fuji, Niel, Klipper, Laird, both 1200 Doo's all were fast at Super. A little better organization would have all the fastest sleds line up at once.
