I think there are a lot more liberals out there than your list includes. I have a hard time believing all the armed services and cia guys are liberals.
If there are a lot of libs, then I would think the majority would be middle class, and therefore would be most effected by increases in taxes and the like, just like the majority of people here would be.
It said libs are the least affected by the lib mentality and what I meant by that is welfare recipents and college kids dont care about taxes because the dont pay taxes. They only recieve the benifit of guys like me Who do ! simple enough to understand?

I support Obama because i have seen what 8 years of Republicans have done, and i want it to change. Was it all bad? not at all. I just strongly disagree with many things McCain believes in, like the war for example. PLEASE DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A WAR ARGUEMENT. But i have different feelings than him, and i like Obamas position.
Do i feel like Obama is perfect? **** no. And no im not some crazy democratic *******, im independant. I have plenty of very conservative friends and would never judge someone based on thier political views, like i have seen some people doing latley.
I think Obama could bring good change to the country, and im willing to gamble.

We ask a simple question like (why do you like him, why did you vote for Bush?) and we get no response of substance. Is it that hard to name some political stances of your canidates that you agree with?

Well for starters we didn'nt start this war and I sure as hell don't think we should turn tale and run! the world we live in is not going to be any more flowery and peaceful if Obama is elected and frankly the idea of letting the powers that be in the rest of the world think we have elected a weakling scares me. . The rest of the world is trying to bring our standard of living to that of theirs and its working ! I for one would prefer to have a president that I have no question about his loyalty to the country .Its ust insane that these kind of issues are even part of an election of the countrys highest leader. if you think opec is going to just open up and kiss Obamas arse and make thing all better you are certainly mistaken . This country is in crisis and the treehugger mentality is not helping. Until we can make progress on alternatives oil is our answer and he wants to keep us in the strangle hold we are in . I agree its time to do somthing but castrating the already strugling economy with more taxes is simple math! I agree about McCain but not that much!!If there were another viable canidate I might support them as it is we have these two .

gas was a buck because of desert storm and we kicked there *** so bad they went running like a dog that got whipped.
and the government has nothing to do with gas prices its supply and demand they have the supply and we have the demand so they keep gouging us through the price of oil and it will until some one shoots them to get a point across.
and oil is not a " fossil fuel " its not formed from rotting animal remains or condensed plankton remains. its naturally forming read the book " deep hot biosphere " it gives alot of info. i think some where in there these guys did an experiment and bored 2 miles down into SOLID ROCK!
ok little side note here how does igneous rock form? it melts and then solidifies. is there any animal known to man that can survive 15,000*F?

BUT, how can you say Obama wants to keep us in the oil strangle?!?! When i saw him speak he made it VERY obvious he wants to bring down gas prices by alternative energy. He wants the demand to go down, so in turn the price goes down, and dont rely on the smelly crap anymore....
ive heard the hydrocarbon theory of how gas is made, and yes there is alot of good evidence pointing to it, but there is also ALOT of evidence disproving it....

Change change change. Grow up how is a jr. congressman gonna change my life? He has ZERO clout as a world leader, he has more present votes then yes or no's. If Obama gets in you will see change. The next president will be selecting at least 2 US supreme court judges. Those appointments are for LIFE. Those judges will affect the cource of this country. They are the ones that decide what is legal and what isn't. Why do you think liberals fight so hard when ever a conservative or constitutional judge is picked?? They know the direction of the country is at stake.
