drove up snug yesterday AM it was snowing. Stayed at the house on snug and by last night there was 6" on the deck. So we are getting closer!!

FYI - got a phone call back from the Seward Ranger District Ranger (big time props to this sweet gal - calling me back on a Sunday). They did get a decent amount of snow down there and she said she hoped to have good news - but the higher ups say it is a no go... They are not officially opening anything yet. MAYBE by Wednesday they might start to open a few selective areas. Will keep ya'll posted

I have a 3 day weekend planned for lost lake on the 4th 5th and 6th of Jan so as long as it opens by then!!!!

Im hoping that they continue to just get dumed on until then.

Went to Petersville today. Made it across the kroto bridge next to the parking lot.... then the rear springs in my suspension broke. So i cruised back to the truck, loaded my sled... and slept while my buddies rode. SOOO i made it to my sisters on time. My buddies that rode said that any big open areas were wind blown... aswell as the southern side of the mountains. Will fix my sled tomorrow afternoon and see where the snow takes me.

OMG turnagain already got 10 in. in last 3 hours. My inlaws drove through about 10 min. ago and said it was absolutely white out. The portage cut off has 4in. of new in last 3 hours also.

Rode Petersville today and it was one of the best rides of the year. 3 ft. of untouched pow nearly everywhere we went. Thanks to Blondz for playing tour guide.
