I can't ride tomorrow but I do have Sat, Sun, Mon, and Tues off.
Dos anyone know if there's a place in Anchorage that sells True North Adventure gear? Looking for the Storm gloves.
If anyone is up for a ride this week let me know, I'm off.
I'm definitely up for a ride!! Can you come pick me up though??
hehe!!
Bring the trailor on in bud! Might be headed south if it keeps snowing like it is. Im head to soldotna to picka sled up right now, i will see how the conditions are and let you know.
Just got the call from Seward Ranger District - ALL areas are open..... LOST LAKE IS OPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO I AM SO FLIPPIN' EXCITED
I got a phone call directly from the ranger (not sure if she wants her name mentioned, so I won't - but she is the BEST ranger in the state as far as I am concerned) here is the web site - it isn't updated yet, but will be soon http://www.fs.fed.us/r10/chugach/cabin_web_page/seward_trails/updates.html
On a side note, anyone know anyone that does the plastic welding thing? I busted up my hood pretty good on a stump at caribou....dont ask... Looking for someone local to the peninsula... Preferably the kenai/soldotna area...
Change of plans probably. Looks like I might be trailer less. I'll tow one of yours if you have one we can use. I might be stuck just throwing my sled in the back of my truck and driving down.
