I can’t see why not. Same as electronic reverse. I’m guessing one came up and they all shared.I hope Cat agreed to make Doo's 120s and 200s to trade for use of SHOT!
Did you share your toys when you were a kid?I can’t see why not. Same as electronic reverse. I’m guessing one came up and they all shared.
Had no choice….I believe skidoo invented the electronic reverse and all have it now …just meant it’s a matter of time on the start tech.Did you share your toys when you were a kid?
From my understanding doo came up with it, poo sued doo over patent infringement on trailing arms or something like that so doo gave them the reverse to settle the lawsuit. Cat had to wait until the patent expired and that’s why cat didn’t get it until 2009 or so. So yes eventually they all might have it once the patent is up.I can’t see why not. A new DI motor would be neat. Especially nestled in a new lightweight chassis. Hell throw a turbo on it too!Maybe it’s a done deal. Supply the 120&200cc sleds for the shot technology in the new motor they are releasing this year ? Wholly that’s a mouth full of nonsense.
I will say that sometimes as a new rider it's hard to pull when the sleds all messed up in the snow and your tired and out of breath lol. I also see alot of used sleds that say "shots broken"...
If I remember correctly when the Mountain Max originally came out in 1997, it was the lightest sled in it's class. Yamaha was so proud of the weight of the sled, they even had one on a live scale at the new model reveal. But I get what your saying and that was a long time ago.Yamaha and super light have never been in the same sentence.
AC sued BRP for battery-less EFI patent tech pirated by BRP. Poo sued BRP for suspension coupling patent pirated by BRP. Doo offered E-reverse to settle those patent infringements. That's how it actually happened. The industry is full of IP overreach.Had no choice….I believe skidoo invented the electronic reverse and all have it now …just meant it’s a matter of time on the start tech.
