Is any one up there that could confirm if granite pass got much snow? Or did the good snow track a little more north this time?

Snow

We have been riding granite pass area for 2 days now and have been finding pretty damn good snow. A lot of spots have some pretty deep snow. Driving from MN was well worth it.

Sounds like the riding this weekend should be good! How bad has the wind blown up there? I think south and west of bear in the hunt mountain area is gonna be a fun place to go

thanks digger! do you think granite got as much snow as bear lodge did? 12inches? we found awesome snow 2 weeks ago so if granite got the 12" that bear did i know we will find some amazing conditions!! here is what we found on 11/20/11

In my experiences, most places on the mountain get more snow than what they get at bear lodge, once you get up on top.

Snow

Yes we got pics just like that. Buddy tried putting them on here but it won't let him. I think south of Bear got more snow. We are having an awesome time!!!!

Heading up on saturday, ill try to get some pics on here for everyone to see how it is.

I have yet to go up. Waiting on my wrap to show up. I talked to a guy that was up this weekend and tore up his a arms/shock on a rock, so I'm not too bummed yet. Looking good up there though.

Was up saturday and rode most the day till a sled broke down... Found some good snow for sure. Had to leave the sled because it was almost dark and went back up today to find more snow, but the wind was horrible! Didnt get much riding done today, spent the whole day trying to get the sled out with just my sled and that didnt work so while we were heading out we ran into two guys who helped us out and not sure if they are on here or not, but thanks again Dan and Brady you guys saved us a trip up again tomorrow.

But the snow now has some base to it and it is getting to be really fun to ride because you can go most everywhere, but the bottoms of draws and windloaded hills seems to be the best still.

Pics are from saturday, not very good but shows some good spots. Didnt take any today on account of dragging a sled around all day.
