2011/12 Big Horns North/South snow conditions

Anyone going this weekend? Or was it a major melt down?

i was up there today the wind has blown a lot but there was still patchy snow pack on the road so it must have not been to warm up there the past week. other then the wind moving the snow around it don't look like there is to much difference from last weekend. I know i will be going this weekend.

By Saturday, it could be really good if it keeps snowing like it has been!!! You would be riding in fresh for sure, but their is still landmines up there, so your gonna be riding in a foot to two feet of fresh with rocks and stumps under it!!

Heck ya!! Me and my crew made a three and half hour one way drive there on the 6th and it was worth it!!!! Should be better this weekend!

What's the ride report? Any pics? Is it rideable to warrant a 9 hour drive over Turkey Day weekend drive?

Went up for a short ride today, went down 14a to where bald mountain road starts, there are still bare areas because of wind but we found some areas that were pretty deep about 2 feet or so up in some trees was the best i found. There is still some rocks out there you got to watch for but there wasnt much of a base that i found. Had lots of fun once we got to the deep areas... Took a couple pics not very good ones but kinda gives a guy an idea.

As far as coming over thanksgiving there is no new snow forcasted so what we have now will be there when you get here... Should be ok for some early riding

Well coming off of my 97 i rode last year it is a big improvement. The sled ran great! and the hps can i put on sounds nice. I think i am really going to like it just got to put lots of miles on it this year
