Wy Hi update

Am going up as well tonight. Busy weekend for maintenance so may not post until I get back.
Will try to let you guys know what it looks like on our end tonight just in case some of you want to go check it our this weekend.

WY HI UPdate

Hello All:

it is a balmy 7 degrees here today. Came over from the Sheridan side today around noon and conditions were not good. Windy from observation point all the way over. Drifting snow and getting worse.
Had some sleds here from the Lovell side and they reported the road to be OK.
There is around 18" of powder.

Sounds like the roads suck! But sounds like the snow was good tho. Didnt make it up there today, anybody got any report? Wondering about the base and how much the snow has covered up all the landmines.

Group of us went up today, rode 24"-36" all day! Got a few pics driving home now ill post pics when I get home.. pulled some nasty linesthrough the trees only got one rock and it was a mile from the trailer coming back

boostfreak got 35 miles on his proclimb, we hit some nice pow and I got taken out by a good sized avy.

Looks like a good ride for november 6th. Glad you didnt hit any rocks thats good news, but that avy looks scary, glad you are alright... Hopefully there is more snow on the way!

The hills are really wind loaded bad so be careful.

We unloaded at Granite Pass.

Snow cover wasn't real good out in the open but if you know where to look, its got a 4in hard crust base and over a foot of fresh pow and up to 36in deep.
