No offense intended but a report from Sheridan Media will not give you much realistic info on what is happening on our end of The Horns. mbj050
Are you guys on the north or south end of the Horns, Thanks
Nice pics rydpwdr! Hows the pro? Well looks like this weekend should be some ok riding.
"How's the pro"...I thinks it's unreal, polaris hit it out of the park with this model, only complaint I have is the track. After 5 years of riding with a CE 2.5 this track is pretty lame...but I'll live with it.
Forecast says up to a foot maybe more through wednesday... Do your snow dance!
just wondering about a few things, me and a couple friends are heading to the big horns the day after Christmas so our first ride will be the 27th. We are staying in Sheridan and I was curious on how to get to Bear lodge from there. Or how to get to the nearest parking lot that has access to the trail. Also how much snow did this last storm dump.
Thanks, 606
Take I-25 north, exit at the dayton-ranchester exit. Follow that highway through both towns and that will take you up to all the riding area. Either park at bear lodge or granite pass (thats my recommendation, a good majority of the people park at these two spots.) As far as the storm i dont know, the snotels either went up an inch or stayed the same. They will prolly go up tomorrow, hopefully someone has been up and will fill the rest of us in!
