wondering how the conditions are at togwotee pass , rumors of great snow
? Also arriving Jan. 14 Group of 35 from Indiana

I was out with three others between Christmas and New Years. All in all, it was a great trip. Our guide Jeff led us to some great snow the first day. Unfortunately, we didn't stop anywhere long enough for me to snap some photos... also, we had some electrical issues with my friend's dragon that same day. Turns out it has 5000+ miles, not 950... Long story.. It will all be straightened out soon though.

For the rest of the trip, we went out unguided and my friend rented a new polaris. Let's just say he enjoyed that. The snow was great. We didn't ride much fresh, but we were able to find some good riding. Compared to last year this time, it is much better-huge difference. Here are some pictures:

Oh, and the last three pictures are from my creek adventure. The first picture shows where I fell below the trail as I was side-hilling below it (visibility was not very good). From that point on, I was forced down to the creek where I was eventually able to get back on the trail, thanks to high-spirited friends and some guts (rocks, running water and logs are the best!...)

Can't wait for next year.
