On the weather channel it says there suppose to get 6-12 in this weekend. Anybody know if it happened? They were in a winter storm warning last time I heard. We're heading out there december 26th and leaving the 31st. Really hoping for tons of snow.

ctowels,
No skidoos were with us it was just me and my buddy he was on a 700 rmk, but i did run into someone with an old skidoo. Looked like he was broke down so i went over asked if everything was fine and it was he was just waiting for his friends.

any updates? leaving in a week. getting concerned about the snow depth. dont want to be a landmind finder again this season. it's a 30 hour one way drive, need some real time info. ski

Thanks Togwotee for the 25% discount on the room. See ya the end of January. Oh, and just to let innocent bystanders know, the Kook may not be able to come with us. I'll try and keep the general public up-to-date on that.

Please, someone who has ridden the Togwottee area in the last few days, give us an update? We're all wondering if these last few storms dropped any significant snow?

i haven't been up since the start of the storm last weekend, but the top of the pass is riding good. with all the new snow that fell over the weekend and early in the week its gotta be fine coverage as long as you stay high in elevation. the warm temps this week may or may not have put a crust on the snow up there. i did ride on tuesday north of jackson, but not up at togwotee and it was DEEEEP! its still a little thin in spots since its early season, but this last storm gave us the needed base. There is definatly good riding up there...we've been going up there for like a month now and i have yet to have a bad day of riding. just go, you won't regret it...its not that far of a drive.

Went riding today, first ride of the season. Lowest amount of snow I have seen for at least the last 15 years that I can remember for this time of year. Good base, not much fresh. Found a few good areas at the divide but still pretty sad. Need a big dumping of snow, I think it will be great once we get that since the base is nice and set up. Going again early in the week to guide a few people, will let you know if it has improved, forecast is calling for small amounts each day.
