2009/10 Togwotee snow conditions

Thread Rating
4.00 star(s)
at Togwotee Moutain Lodge we got around 6-10 inches within the last 24 hours...it hasnt quit snowing today. Probably a lot more up top....couldnt see the top of angle mtn all day. Very light fluffy "typical wyoming snow" if it were me I would wait for one or two more good snowfalls...but to each there own...later...

Lookin good to me!

Snotel is at 29" and counting. Will be there in 10 days.:D:beer;

Would it be worth the drive from Alpine on Saturday to sled the area? :rolleyes:
Same question, but I'm coming from CO. I have to come up anyway to pick up a sled, and am wondering if I should bother bringing my other sled and gear. Really jonesing to get a ride, so if anyone has any advice on anywhere nearby, Afton, Alpine, etc, that is good right now, it would be much appreciated.

We are supposed to get snow this weekend...it was really warm today so it probably played an effect. If your dying to get a ride you could do it. Ive heard now that there is some decent snow higher than the lodge. Im probably going on my first ride on saturday...

Somebody holler tomorrow with an update. I want to see if it will be worth me zipping up on saturday for a day ride from Pinedale!

got around three inches today at the lodge. maybe a little more up top. still pretty low compared to most years. hopefully we get hit within the next week or so.

dubois

how far of a drive would it be to stay in dubois to get to some decent riding? any recommendations on where to ride out of to find the steep and deep?

So maybe im missing something, but whats the guarantee terms??

Copied from Togwotee Mountain Lodge website:
Special "Snow Guarantee" with this rate allows guests a more lenient cancellation policy if the snow conditions are poor. Standard cancellation (14 days) applies unless meets the poor snow quality conditions and then the cancellation can be made up to 72 hours prior to arrival

All kidding aside, how are the conditions looking at Tog? We are scheduled to roll out the day after X-mas.

lodge snow right now is marginal...good snow up top. But we are supposed to get snow everyday now in the 10 day forecast so its lookin good
