How do you shed 8 lbs off the crankshaft and still keep it beefy?;)

The weight didn't come off the structural part of the crank, it came off the weights on the crankshaft. They took 4 lbs off not 8. Speedwerxs has been doing this to the race motors since the laydown came out in 05 without any issues.

cat is taking a lesson plan from the polaris 900 playbook.......LMAO

how many spare cranks do they recommend to carry in the 10's?

Because all they can do is go straight, the m8 could not turn in tight trees just scrubbed straight. but they were stock ski's and yeah they do suck going from tri keels.

I know were all gettin antsy cause were ready for it to snow but c'mon do we really need one of these threads again?

I wouldn't know about that.......750 miles on 1 belt for the season and it looks brand new..

the only problems the 09 skidoos had with belts were in the immagination of cat and polaris owners.......but it makes a great story doesn't it?

And your concerns about the Cat crank are backed by factual history. I love how you guys justify the short comings of your pile by trying to fabricate a weakness in the competition. The thread is a joke, relax:cool:
