I'm looking to go to McBride or Valemount from Edmonton this week for a couple of days but no one to go with i don't know anyone around here that rides...I;m a green rider and looking for other green riders to ride with.If anyones interested in going riding please let me know.Thanks

We got a crap load of snow here in the Edmonton area over the weekend. Did any of it fall in the Valemont area over the weekend? Are they still grooming down to the staging areas? If not how far do you have to drive up?
Heading to Valemount, riding on Friday the 11TH
just looking to find a group to ride with. one days ride in crappy conditions is better than 10 good days at work.

You really don't want to go to the mountains with newbies if you are a newbie too! Hook up with someone that knows the area so you don't get into trouble. There are many bad places you can get into if you don't know where you are going.
i agree with acidal69 . I'm heading there this week if you wanted to tag along, but if you don't already have accomadations then you might have trouble.
Anyone been to Renshaw lately? We're thinking of makin a trip there Fri - Sun

recieved 2" in the townsite last night, should have brought a good dose to the alpine.
After meeting with out grooming contractor, I can say that all three areas are still being groomed on schedule throughout this weekend and we hope to continue throught to the 19+20 weekend, but we are weather dependant. I will keep updating info as decisions are made. Remember, the more riders that show up, the easier it is to continue to groom, so get on out for a ride !
Little bit of fresh in the evenings and sunshine in the day.
Makes for great spring

Part of our group are heading out Thursday night and the rest Friday night.

Finally had some staff up on the mountain to get a first hand report........and its goooooood
8" to over a foot of fresh was in Clemina today with no one around. Excellent conditions for the up coming weekend and with snow in the forcast, its just going to get better.
Better get up here for a ride !

there was a foot of fresh powder on renshaw today and it snow most of the time up there.it was a awsome time.although for the poor visibility
