All in all it was a pretty good afternoon. It sure made the day interesting. Sunday was pretty good....we went to the Notch but it was pretty tracked up.....hmmmm I wonder who put those marks way up there on the right side;)

As we talked about..you guys met the criteria for offering our help and we were happy to do so.

Thanks again for dinner and drinks on Saturday night and I hope you made it home safe.

**** was I sore the next day, I wonder how many guys have ever rode an 800 Hp,
1300 lbs sled. lmao!!

Give us a shout, we can do it again. Ride I mean.

I wish I could tell you where the Notch was. Every hill was starting to look the same on day 2. It does not help that the first time we went there it was after midnight:) Sunday was quite a rodeo ride for Jay with no shock in his skid. He got bucked off climbing up hill and the sled rolled end for end and stopped nose in on a pretty good slope. Too bad Kevin and I missed it as we were getting Kev's Summit out of a tree well:)

Valemount will be holding a poker run on March 29th at the lower Westridge Riding area. 10am at the Hydro Station, located at the beginning of the Westridge FSR. All proceeds made will be donated to Winterfest and Children with disabilities. Come on out for a fun easy ride to kick off the spring !

We've been having nice riding weather lately with good visibility. Blowing cloud and have been recieving about 1cm of snow overnight in town. Overall still a great time to be had. Trails are holding up well in the warmer afternoons and should last long into spring.

Heres a shot of Superbowl yesterday and a shot of my probe while placed in the trees, as you can see, still lots left to melt.

On another note !

Valemount will be holding a poker run on March 29th at the lower Westridge Riding area. 10am at the Hydro Station, located at the beginning of the Westridge FSR. All proceeds made will be donated to Winterfest and Children with disabilities. Come on out for a fun easy ride to kick off the spring !

Rode vailemont on the weekend, pretty tracked and set up. Decent snow could be found with searching but it was more like spring riding. I would say there was about 4 in of soft. Trails were great, weather was pretty good, it was a good weekend for exploration.
 
We rode Renshaw yesterday (Monday) and there was a solid 2-3ft of fresh! Visibility not the best but of course we made due. We were the only ones who went thru the saddle due to conditions, but we were trying to get out a 08 xp with a broken driveshaft but that was a no go due to how deep it was. Heading back up today to ride and try and put a dent into some of that fresh. Keith.

Thanks for the info. Ill be making the trip for sure now. That broken drive shaft on the XP, that just happened to a buddy I was riding with last weekend. We had to tow it out about 50 kms. I guess you dont build a machine that light without sacrificing something.
 
we recieved another 2cm in town last night. It must be looking pretty good in the hills. All in all a good spring, a bit of snow in the evenings, then realitively clear for the day:)

Highest Ghost Hand = Golf Gift Cert from Valemount Pines
Lowest Ghost Hand = Gas Gift Certif from Babos Contracting

This will be a casual ride on the Westridge Family trail (hopefully the snow holds up) Hot dogs and pop lunch. All proceeds go to charity

Holy madness man.

I dont think i have ever seen so many machines going through as I did today and yesterday. Steady stream all day. Counted over 30 trucks on my way home from jasper to hinton. Good thing snow is a renewable resource!

Were and when were those pics taken we are heading there on weds for 3 days of riding. A friend and myself are taking our boys ages 12, 14, 15, should be fun if there is that much fresh. Can't friggin wait havn't been in the mountains since early January.
