Wow, 4-6" of fresh snow on the trail into clemina this morning. Nice trail from the parking area, excellent coverage on the trail to the cabin. Fresh tracks on the way in.

All tracks from Friday were filled in nicely, wind and new snow accumulated to a great day of riding. Landmines still to be found easily but usually seen

We had a great ride in goat ridge, up and over and dipped into danger basin, bu the farther you went, the more rock it got. A trail was made, but covered, into the hillclimb area. Bauers second chance was deep, but again rocky, hillcimb looked like a forest

We still need way more snow for 100% confidence, but it was a great day of riding

that starting to look good...wanna come up next weekend the weather looks to be sunny all week, might not get much snow this week, but a sunny weekend would be nice

allen creek

just got back from valemount, best sledding ive had for a very long time! trail was terribly rough, no grooming yet. tracked up alot around the cabin but just a couple minutes from cabin found big powder, 2-3feet of amazing stuck all the time, played right out. awesome sledding. plenty of snow base for a great ride also. if you find a sunny day, you wont be dissapointed with the snow.

Allan Creek

Road Allan both days this week end. Snow was as good as it gets this early, 2-3ft in the open and 3-4ft in the trees. Trail was brutal, I busted a spindle on the way down on saturday. I would like to thank the Ft Mac crew for bailing me out with the trail side repair. Who carries a spare spindle with all of the fittings. Sunday was the best day with blue skies all day. I got to witness a Artic Cat get lift out of the back bowl from a helicopter.

pretty sure Miledge would be BRUTAL this early... thats a looong nasty trail with a lot of creek crossings this early!

We attempted Miledge on Sunday - mistake. The trail up initially was great... we broke trail through about 2-3 feet of fresh. Then we hit the willows, the creeks and waterfalls. We made it very close to the top of the alpine, but the last few pulls looked impossible. So, we turned around and played in some meadows. Too bad because it would have been awesome in there and worth the crap trail had we got in there. They need at least a few more dumps before it will be any easier getting in there. Lesson learned though, Miledge is not for early riding.
