Valemount - Mcbride 08/09

Sorry fellas, its not worth the pic. Im sure the upper mountains got pounded in the snow storm, but all signs of lower valley snow are gone:mad:

There is just no access yet, sorry guys I was hoping to wake up to a white out
 
Anyone been at that Willow Burl Cabins place?
They are about 8km south of Valemount, looks like a pretty nice place!
I'm gonna try them out on our first trip...

We stayed there and it worked out ok unless you like drinking beer at the bar and then it is a son of a gun to walk home LOL.
Curtis is right the damn snow is gone down low. Still to warm. Rock powder. Revy is has more snow down low.

Excellent place to stay. NIce, clean cabins. SECURE parking. Just be sure to book early. We usually book at least 6 months in advance. If you are going during X-Mas break and haven't booked yet you might be hooped:(
 
I wouldn't bother unless we get a whole heap of snow in the next few days....
haven't seen it firsthand, but the reports are not good.
 
If you had lots of time and money head to Alaska. Saw some pictures over by Heainz and WOW

i just thought i'd drop a note on here saying hi.. As i just joined this forum and aswell one of the new owners of the sled shop in mcbride.. Bought ride and hide and we have given it a new name, Spindrift Powersports (250)569-0070.. We will be more than happy to help people out with repairs, parts, aftermarket goodies, hop-up parts or about whayever you need.. we will also do our best to help out people that are over in the valemount 7 blue river area if they are in need of something and they cant find what they need jus t give us a holler...
 
looking for snow?

Sounds like there is lots of snow in stewart/kitimat area add about 11 hours to your drive whoever was writing from loyd, there is supposed to be great sledding up there and i am looking forward to going at least once this year.
