I heard something about that too. It's crazy these new regulations that kicked in last year. Golden lost some of our terrain too due to heli operations. I can understand their view, but dang, that's crazy to simply CLOSE it. Turbo's do make the backcountry smaller.. hahahahaaaa. You can go aaaaanywhere now!
That closure is called a "Section 58" in British Columbia. As your local snowmobile club...

bell mt today

Talked to some guys today who drove 12 kms on gravel before the snow. They had heard conditons were ready to go. I asked them where they heard that? On the internet they said. Read it on the internet so it has to be true. New machines and one of them the skies are finished. A little early boys

Early season = Early breakage!!!

No big deal, its only sleds. Ya we were hoping for more but w/e its still better then nothin.

Drove bye on sunday, dont think youll be having luck riding yet. doesnt look to good

i would imagine we are a couple weeks off yet... IF we get some colder weather and snow that stays... I have been watching the weather there pretty closely and it has been warm the last while :(

yeah, we are warming with rain down low and its sooo fogged in I cannot see what happend up high last night, hopefully a dose of the white stuff

Lookiing through the fog and it looks like the mountains got hit pretty hard last night. The forcast shows cooling temps and snow for the next few days so Im keeping my fingers crossed. These last few warm days did not help our situation

I hope to quad into clemina on Saturday to check the snow levels. If i manage to get out there, I will post pics of what I find

not yet, but soon :D
