TRA question..

Hmmm, interpretation?

Well there are some people who insist the earth is round... but I say it has many shapes upon it.

While the ramp is definitley considered by the engineers who wrote the book to be a "fixed" part.... OT has a point that the Ramp has the potential to move (pivot about the axis of the mounting axle pin) by cent. force when clickers are set to a lower setting. They also momentarily pivot about the axis of the mounting axle pin when you clicker up, by way of the axial torque of the wrench applied to the eccentric cam adjuster, when you clicker up to a higher number thus pushing the toe of the ramp away from the perpendicular axis of the mainshaft. Just like BJ says, they will not continue to move about during operation, so the correct technical description would be "fixed-adjustable" that is unless the press fit between the mounting axle pin thingy - (roll pin) and the ramp mounting hole has been lost.... then they will become "moveable" and flop around until they eventually fly out of the governor cup like a bullet.... and if you let your clutch go that far gone.....you deserve to be towed out by a CAT.....yikes!:face-icon-small-win

PS Everybody go home and have a :beer;

Tell me this, how does MY TRA have moveable ramps? Huh?

Oh brother! The earth spins the galaxy moves! There is no such thing as stationary if you guys are going to get that technical. It is an adjustable part for pete's sake. Enough already!
