In a TRA clutch...

While the sled is in motion (engine running) is the ramp a MOVING part (as in it moves while sled is in motion) or an ADJUSTABLE part (as in once set at certain clicker # it becomes a non-moving part)...clutch rotation on the crank doesnt constitute moving...

please answer either moving or adjustable...thanks...BJ

BTW- I know the answer...just kinda taking a poll for fun:D

Oh Gaaaaawwd......got yer Teton-bait out do ya?! Bored? Ya know....we need somebody to break into the BRP codes for the Outty quad....might give ya something to do.....

Trick question. You state 'as in moving while sled is in motion'= Moving.
But it is also adjustable!
If you consider the WHOLE sled as MOVING then all parts are 'MOVING PARTS'.
Handle Bars are 'Adjustable' but they move when the sled moves! LOL!

Real answer: Adjustable

On a TRA clutch that is in spec it would be adjustable. However, I took one apart a few months ago that was obviously moving because it shredded the governer cup on the way out!!!

It is a non moving part.

OR if you disagree you could say that there are zero nonmoving parts when the sled is in motion, but that would be stupid too.....

Teton is not biting, John-boy! LOL. Good try though. Maybe a counter-steering question?

WHAT??? LOL...counter steering...track speed...hotter plugs start better...9000' or higher is real riding...on and on and on...

Thank you fellow SKI-DOO guys/tuners (that actually had a TRA apart once or more) to explain the capacity of the TRA ramp...BJ

BJ you finally coming out of the closet on the TRA ?.... It's taken you 8 years from on of SW's very 1st 398 post 21 page discussion.

Tell SW it isn't so, you can't be tossing in the white flag. LMAO.......My theory is well documented and 100% correct. however i'll wait till we have at least 239 posts and 16 pages of opinions to read through.

I think the same question is posted on the Arctic Cat thread as well. :beer;
