they might use that pic at their big opening this weekend. But remember, you shouldnt drink and ride.

It was more of a de-bauckle than a fiasco. Unplug computer, plug back in, SHRED... No alpine engine pull POO. DC was doing more un-packing and found your battery and charger yesterday. Guess you'll have to plan a ride this way to claim...

Finally figuring the problem out after the 3rd time pulling it 2000 times to get it to start doesn't bring the fiasco down to debaucle-ness my friend. But you're right I do have you beat for most alpine engine pulls

Oh ya guys, how could anyone forget "you shouldn't drink and ride" when every time a picture of a beer is posted somebody feels they need to remind you of the fact:brokenheart::brokenheart::brokenheart:

Just want to let everyone know that there will be a 50/50 ride to the Torpy on Sunday March 15. Sponsored by Howie's Marine. Lunch available at the cabin and trail will be groomed.

rode the torpy today, about 2' of freash, with perfect trail met the groomer on the way out, mostly blue blazer all day, made for awesome riding

the burn

Yup on the new snow and i think I set a land speed record comming out of 14 on sat, met the gromer at Km 1 so it was to the pipe all the way out. i'm surprised it stayed together(the sled). made a groomer donation for that little thrill.

Up the Burn

Buddy and I rode Saturday, had one of the best days yet this season.....first ones up the Burn and we each burned an extra 5 gallons. Was touch and go making it back to the truck!! Lots of POW!! Check out the avalanche pics.

Fresh snow....

Went up again on Tuesday, there was about another 2 feet of fresh on top since we were there on Saturday. It was epic!! The snow was awesome and another blue blazer again too. The trail in was nice and groomed. The 100+ sleds that they had in there for the 50/50 ride on Sunday didn't rough it up too much. Of course it's always a little rougher after the Pass Lake turnoff, but still not bad. We checked out the safety shelter on the way back from our ride. The snow that is on the roof still didn't slide, and has the roof pretty kinked on the left side and the wall looks a little pushed in.

We found the Torpy Gnome!! I don't know why we have never seen it before!!

I saw team Howie's heading out east this morning. Hopefully they where heading to the Torpy to do a work B to save that cabin. With this warm weather I don't think that thing will stand a chance.

Does anyone know the fellow who owned the m8 that got torn apart up there. im not sure if he wants it back or what is left back but i think i know where it might be. I know its not in the bush now for sure.
So if someone has his information i would like to get ahold of him. thanks

I was on the crew trying get the snow to let go. See pictures. Had to leave about 3:00pm. The stove was roaring and the temperature inside was about 35c when I left.

We were in on Sunday and it looks like most of the snow is gone except for the peak in the front. It looks like someone took 2X4's and banged the underside of the roof for it to let go....at least most of the weight is off now. The wall and roof are still a bit buckled, but at least it didn't cave in with all that weight!!
