...or were ya wingin' it & hoping for the best? lolThis area is still one of the only open areas in that range but half is closed off so watch where you go. The burn is also open and I think everything else is closed. There was a map at the trail head to go up 4k but it has been there for years showing the closed off section.
Nice pics from your weekend in the Sande...quite a bit of fresh!! Regarding the closures...yes I believe the Burn is open and also the Sande and that's it. They will have to post closed areas....but I don't imagine they will do so this year. The maps I've found so far are VERY vaugue....all of our little "secret" areas are now closed from what I see. I just can't believe it...it's like a really bad dream.
What I can't believe is PG riders care to abide by closures way back in the middle of nowhere!! More government tax dollars wasted driving way back into the Macgregors to see if anyone's riding closed areas in one of the more vast areas of the province?!?!? Lucky around here it's not the caribou closures , but the heli-ski companies trying to shut down sledding. Way less respect for yuppies in choppers than wildlife. Or is it supposed wildlife... What a joke. Get your fix hard this year in those newly closed areas before they are patrolled. Then it gets way more fun. Follow this line CO...

No way! Your gonna take me to some of your secret WRENCHING spots, I mean riding. You wouldn't be taking me to any areas closed to Wrenching, I mean riding would you? At least with you around the CO will have someone to shoot the Chit with while the rest of us ride. Perhaps he could hand you wrenches and such while you both wait for the group to return? Silly Polaris wrenchers, I mean riders. Hopefully the CO's will run Polaris too so we can all continue to ride, while Polaris owners play NASCAR in the back-country. Hit the pits boys, quick bottom end!

It was more of a de-bauckle than a fiasco. Unplug computer, plug back in, SHRED... No alpine engine pull POO. DC was doing more un-packing and found your battery and charger yesterday. Guess you'll have to plan a ride this way to claim...
