ya i was a couple ranges behind the torpy hunting and at higher elevations there was freash snow

Hopefully it's not as late as last year! It's nice to get the first spin in early to get the edge off.

last year wasnt late i was up there first week in nov there was close to 4 feet 
So what I heard is there half a foot of snow at the bowl at the top of the torpy to the left of the burn yesterday. Nothing on the road though.
This is the Burn last November 23rd on our first ride in......the hill up wasn't bad until the first bench and then it was straight ice and lots of logs after that. Hopefully we get a good snow year and we can get in earlier!!

up the herrick, is where i seen it, folks went thru mcbride the other day and seen snow up in the mountians too. last year buddies went up to barkerville october 11th for their first ride
drove through mcbride on monday.... looked like a light skiff of snow "just" to tree line on mcbride (government?) peak etc ... tops were pretty socked in w/fog 'n high cloud though - so who knows what's up there...
Ya i don't know about this year though it was 28 degrees today in quesnel today i hope this weather smartens up soon its unreal.

goin back there on friday night / saturday hunting again, ill report on any snow progress, hoping it will start coming down good early october
This weather has been unreal, 29 degrees in late September.... but heard that it will be changing to flurries on Monday. Let's keep our fingers crossed!!
