hey doug, i think me and king kat were the first ones in and out of no cigar from the top. maybe through the trees but still first looking forward to tearing it up with ya' this year, always nice to have another aggresive rider to bust the pow with. need to get out and do a little early exploring this year, may have a couple of areas that have opened up, which will make you pucker!!!
VICTORY IS MINE!!! fired the precious for the first time today, took a nice deep breath of smoke, smelled like heaven fired right up with no leaks so looks like all i need now is some pow. wish the stuff that came through at the start of the week would have held, would have been plenty for a break-in ride. so now comes the worst part of the year, raining so won't ride the quads, and no snow so no snomobiling every week the anticipation gets worse and worse. all i can do is watch the weather 5 times a day and cuss the snow gods who have forsaken me. becoming more and more jealous of all the other peeps posting they got out on thier first rides and i'm sitting home wondering how many snowcones it would take to make a small mt. to ride on too many maybe if i bought my own snowcone machine? i would of course flavor them all orange! after a couple of more weeks it will come to "if it doesn't snow here by thanksgiving its time for a road trip." need to get ahold of king kat, he's always got the time and the money, we just need to find snow. usually the snow comes just in time, but remember eating pork and beans out of a can up at greenwater a few thanksgivings ago. was one of the best meals ever!!! well lets hope it doesn't come to that this year, want to be eating my turkey sandwich at the top of kelsay in a couple feet of pow. for that i would be VERY thankful for.
heres a pic of the precious all but done, a hood and a couple of side panels and she's ready to rip. for all of you who seemed to take offense to my "suitcase" you'll notice i have replaced it with a shiny new one. doesn't work very good for a shelf but sure sounds good
