sandmans log

hey tedd, was wondering if there were any old shoolers who would catch that! great links, thank you, was awesome to get to see it again:) christofer walken is in about half the movies ever made. soooo, lets hear about the new sled. would assume its a polaris, did you buy it from greg? business has sucked too much lately for me, really wanted the new 2010 M8. maybe next year...

Just tryin to help a brother out..... Walken is definitely a funny man, not everyone gets the humor though.

Yes sir, 09 800 Dragon 155 purchased from Greg. Taking delivery later this month.

tedd, awesome sled! your gonna love it. just don't let the little woman try it out or you might just be buying 2:) greg is a great guy, nice to have a dealer who actually rides the stuff he sells, and he's not too bad at it for an old guy;) actually he's one of my favorite buds to ride with, he's just like me, there for the ride and nothing else. as long as its light and we have gas we ride...

well... once again i didn't get much done on the mods list. worked on customers stuff again!!! am gonna get the top end tore off the begining of this week and get the serious stuff started. did get the new seat in and mounted, it is sweet!!! need to get this going a bit faster, can feel the snow coming soon and i want to be ready:) is raining right now, snow is falling somewhere. a couple of pics of the new seat installed, can't wait to try it out. grandson decided to do a little computer repair, took me half the night to get it working again...

The seat looks nice! Great storage in them.
:)

Lots of storage but won't fit a spare shovel unfortunately thats ok though will find a place under the hood somewhere.
Almost done with my mods for the year. All I need to finish is the slp pipe and can. Need a bit more coin but will have it by january.

thanks guys can't wait to try it out!!! i carry my shovel in my backpack, never even thought about seeing if the thing would fit in the seat. will be nice to have a place big enough to stash my liner/coat when it gets warm. always had to cram it somewhere before, now there will be plenty of room. just don't let your doo, poo, yami friends know or you might become thier pack mule:) i'm already drying thier gloves/goggles when we stop, maybe i could make a little extra gas money, clear dry goggles are worth gold on a snowy day;) got everything ready, will be tearing off the topend first thing in the morning! hopefully there will be no surprises and will get the mods all but done by the end of the week. then all i'll need is snow! if the weather stays dry for the weekend have been thinking about heading up to do a little scouting on the quad. got some good insider info a little mouse told me i would like to check out before the snow comes. a possible new snow shelter out west and some riding areas that may be new this winter;)

was planning on putting the top end together on sat. got to the shop and a guy needed a timing belt and water pump put in his tacoma, so business first:( seems like the mod gods are against me!!! i did at least get the oil reserve bottle sucked dry so its ready to come out. can feel the snow getting closer, am gonna try and at least get the pistons/cylinders/head on today if at all possible. then only about 10 more things to go;) grandson just woke up crying, he's usually an all night sleeper, maybe he's getting more teeth! had to walk him around for about an hour to get him back to sleep. hope he feels better in the morning!!! should have him come to the shop with me, he could get into all those tight spots, i know getting some of the oil pump delete stuff done is really tight. are there still child work laws in oregon:) will hope for the best, halloween is on sat. and can usually get a ride in around then so am gonna do my best to get the sled done this week so i'll be ready to ride. can't wait for the low snow shoot out! a pic of the precious all tore down, hey where'd the front of my sled go???

Noodle soup!

If you recognize the engine, then the Twoski in the distance should strike a nerve also.

When they came to Hawk Fest I, it was of a matched set they brought to ride Jason had the bigger number printed on his, must have been consecutively numbered ex rentals.

Rumor has it both lean on Oneski these days.:face-icon-small-hap

Shur I owned COUCH'S, mine all ways ended up sectionals, a section there, another piece over there, a seat cusion up there!

Had em on speed dial. http://www.furnituremedic.com/

Come on Sandman, Victory? Can you actually say that with a straight face? Typing it is one thing but saying it??? I'm hoping you're a contender at least. Just kidding and I'm really happy for you. You never really said what kind of bonus HP you are expecting and what about venting?

I've got over 20 hours just in venting and intake on my '06. Waiting for the double ring pistons for the XP. They are due in mid November. Its got 6,000 miles and prolly ready to blow. I might doo it myself with a friend. I watched my sons '06 go back together and looked elementary. That sled hits hard.

come on doug we all know once i hit the trees i have no competition;) i'll be waiting for ya' on the top of the ridge:) hey if you need help with that top end just let me know. as far as hp numbers, i should be in the 165hp range, the bdx intake gives me a little more venting, can't get much more than i already have without running a mesh hood!!!

Dude, I believe I almost had to ride your sled out no cigar until my verbal abuse finally kicked in and the "ledge platform idea" got kicked out. I own that ridge and was the first to climb out of it and you know it. Actually it was way before your time. You do scoot thru the trees pretty good but you also leave trenches suitable for mass burials. Just a blast following you. I think you are already plotting your "snow caves" for the motivational speech/safety meetings which is always a good idea.
