Official 07-08 Whistler Pemberton snow report

Deep pow again yesterday, not the best viz but OK. Unloading at the Hurley for guys with decks you can drive up to about 12K. 2 place trailers at 9K very limited parking and you will have some gravel section. If you have a big enclosed I wouldn't chance going past 4 1/2 K yet.

I hear there is a stag party saturday

The Hurley is groomed and is super smooth. Plowed out to 12K now with a bit of parking. The Slednecks boys are filming up Lone Goat today and tomorrow so you might see Geoff and the team do a few drops. Pow was blowing over the helmet, pretty good for spring riding.

Awesome spring riding conditions. Mid thigh fresh snow and -10 temps. The Rutherford has been groomed and is in good shape. Still unloading at the bottom.

Today was deeeeeeeep and sunny!! Blow over the head powder was awesome!! Just wish we all had more gas!

what about camping in the parking lot at rutherford? just have a back of the truck camper. is there still fee's to be paid to ride the trail? last time i was there a couple of years ago it was a kidney beating 10 bucks!

If your looking for a great ride in Pemberton, look no furthur than Ray to guide you around. On Friday my Son and I rode 115 miles on the ice cap with Ray, the weather was great and we rode terrain that was "Totally Awesome". I've ridden for many years, but that was the greatest area I have ever been too. Thanks for the great trip Ray. I'll see you next year.

We went up on Saturday, and there was some fresh up top, couldnt get onto the glacier, too much fog.
Went over to Metaldome, and played over there, some nice untouched there.
S-chute was spring like, and if you stayed off of the icy section:eek:it was an easy climb to the glacier, but again, you would have been in the fog...
Strangely, there were a lot of people, big groups of people, that would sit at the bottom of a hill, talk, smoke, stare up at the hill, and then move to another hill... talk, smoke, stare up at the hill.... nobody every went up the hill....

All that nice snow, and they left it for us!

went up Brandywine today. rode through avalanche alley to Grizzly. super deep in the morning, over the helmet snow. got a little harder by afternoon.
no bare spots on trail up, and it was freshly groomed.:D

Thank's so much guy's it's so hard to find out the snow conditions on that side of Whistler, the whistler snow report is so off some times ,saying only a few inches, then going to the brandy wine side it's waist deep.
And nobody reported anything...
