Yes, still parking at the lot. Trail into the meadows slushy to within a couple of kms today. Only one noticeable thin spot though. High freezing level and thick low cloud kept us off the tops.

Strangely, there were a lot of people, big groups of people, that would sit at the bottom of a hill, talk, smoke, stare up at the hill, and then move to another hill... talk, smoke, stare up at the hill.... nobody every went up the hill....

All that nice snow, and they left it for us!

Lol that seems to be a common scenario! Pretty amusing actually, great for those of us that actually ride..

Clear skis up at Brandywine today, very few people. Watch the open water on the west side of Grizzly Lake. Saw a Rev Sink today, poor guy swam out with a knapsack full of camera gear. They could touch the sled with a probe and they were heading back up tomorrow with dry clothes and ropes.
