Official 07-08 Whistler Pemberton snow report

Zippermouth What?

Actually the way the wind was blowing it was probably scoured.

Was up zippermouth creek to the 100 lakes plateau today. Even with the wind we had on Sunday it was still light and fluffy back there. What an awesome area. Was riding with a neighbor and his friend who was on a AC. He melted his piston but was able to limp out. Got the new belt on the XP and is it ever running good.

Hey Ray, as fellow pembertonian crew who's trail you followed to "TLP" last week, thanks for using Zippermouth creek, however those words should never be spoken outside of Pemby. Definately not for all eyes web wide. Yes the snow was epic, one of few secret zones left. This message will now self destruct... Shred On! Don't fold under pressure ray $$$$$$

there is not much left up there that has not been taken over by the heli or cat skiers, but always follow ray out of your secret spots!!! LOL, hey where did all those red ribbons come from?????? is that a GPS???? you said you left it in the truck!!!!!!!!!!!

Ttt

O.k, we've figured out this isn't the spot to give away secrets - let's get back to ride reports.
Hurley pass was deep yesterday, and getting hammered at the pass as we came out. Road was a little bumpy to 18k then just rollers. Cat (Backcountry Snowcats at their own expense for now) should be making a pass today or tommorow - watch for flashing lights!! Parking at 4k good for 4wd vehicles, otherwise outdoors school. Potential for some big slides out there especially in the alpine - stay safe.

Cheers,
steve

How deep at the pass? Where did you head yesterday?

Poker run Sunday Feb 17th

The PVSC is having it's annual Poker run and avy days tommorrow Sunday Feb 17th. Prizes and and burgers at 12:00 which leaves the rest of the day to go burn some gas.

Went up Rutherford again yesterday - stellar bluebird day and the snow is holding up pretty well with all the sun and warm weather. Trail up was in great shape. Lots of tracks, but still tons of untracked. Watch the south facers in the sunshine, and a few cornices breaking off on all aspects.
Cheers,
steve
