thanks for your time dealing with this! I am sure its more than just me that appreciates your donated time to keep this sight clean , practical and useable for us all!!!

Please understand I AM paid to do this.
Admining this forum is part of my full time job that supports my family and my sledding addiction.


But unlike most paid admins, I actually PASSIONATLY LOVE sledding, and like being here and interacting with all of my friends and fellow Sled Addicts.

Thanks for the link, and getting creative and originally creating the option, and selling it to SnoWest Central in 14, I do recall the original thread. For those with bandwidth, data limits, and slow speed, it has value.


For SnoWest Central - you offer a platform and infrastructure, members offer the content. You can drive loyalty in membership, and reward highly valued content providers - provide a limited term bounty to high value members for their posts. You can even subjectively decide who gets what. Premium, Ad Free, etc. Give the big dogs a lifetime membership. More, better content = more eyeballs = more revenue. Perhaps it's happening now, at least beyond mods.

So it would seem this is just one big campaign to get lifetime members? Since the only response to complaints is, "become a lifetime member." This is exactly why I won't give them more money, and why I don't go out of my way to provide content for the site.

Just something for the powers at be to consider, but paid membership and ridiculous advertising is certainly costing them some valuable members and content.
