Need suggestions My buddy is pissed at me

Lay into him like a spider monkey on mtn dew. Like ollie said, feel sorry for his wife. What an ungrateful prick.

Merry Chrismas sweetheart, I got you a sled!!!!! I dont think I would ever hear that. Although, one year I bought my x-wife a new YZ490 for our anniversary.
i'm still laughing.....did she let you ride it?? :D

Don't mean to rehash but I haven't read all the previous posts word for word.

I rode a stock 670 for years and I'm certain this is more sled than he is ready for at this time. I'm also certain he would whine no matter what sled he had. There would always be an excuse. Sounds like that's the way he is. Maybe he needs some professional counseling.

Wtf???!

first off-sweet a$$ ride second-i assume he knows about the "reverse steering"trick for carving and you guys set up the sled for his weight and snow conditions etc.right?third- do you have any pics of his wife ?i would spoil a chick rotten if she hooked me up with a gift of that magnitude what a 2 bit creep!

It makes me sick when I hear about people treating those who care about them so bad- wow what a jerk. Don't worry it's not your fault he will either come around or he's not worth the time. I know some guys do/say heat of the moment things they regret but if he is holding a grudge its rediculous. I know guys that would love to have that sled and a sweet wife to go with it. To bad sorry you have to deal with a jerk like that.

To tell ya the truth I hope he does come around I spent some time talking with my other buddy tonight who was there and he seems to think it was just more work than he wanted to put forth and that he was looking for an easy way out. When i spoke with his wife earlier she was taking it OK but said they will set down tonight and have a major talk she seems to think maybe he is embarrassed why he wont return my calls, I told her to have there talk and assure him if he wants to learn we will make it happen.
we set the sled up best we could for how we thought he would ride but didn't get a chance to ask him how things felt or what he needed. quit frankly i was shocked when I heard he wanted to sell it. All he has talked about for the last 6 months was he wanted a sled so bad so when all of us went riding he could go.
time will tell I guess what direction this goes

What a jerk! My hubby would never disrespect me or his friends that way. I think u should so take the wife riding and leave his sorry whining A$$ at home!!!

Just my opinion....:D

What a d!ck. His wife does something nice for him and he has balls to complain? What a lack of respect for her and you. Like others said, take her sledding and leave his whiny arse at home. I remember when my old man bought me a 93' Cat 550 EFI when I was 12 I was more than happy (quite ecstatic actually) to get it. It wasn't anything pretty but I sure enjoyed it and the gesture.

The nerve of some people:mad:...

Well, I hope you can at least stay friends. It sounds like he will never be somebody you want to ride with. Probably did turn out to be more work than he thought to keep up with you. Good luck and i hope someday he appreciates what both of you tried to do for him!

Mabye he just wants a different shade of blue.Cant blame the guy if he loves Yamaha and feels embarrassed to ride the Doo.I wouldnt ride it either.LOL.

I hope I find a woman like that someday!

If it was me I'd print out this entire thread, stick it in an envelope and put it under his windshield wiper with a note that says "Is 20 years worth it?"

Good luck bro
