Need suggestions My buddy is pissed at me

ttt....

the only reason i woke up this morning is to hear how things went last night and if you have heard anything from him and/or his wife......

I just finished reading and email from her and i must say props to her. they talked last night for a long time he realized he screwed up and let his ego and tantrum get the best of him. she was still upset but had forgiven him and things were getting back on track. She said he had felt bad about it and that's why he hadn't returned my calls and he also had told his wife that i said he needed these things and was afraid i was going to be mad about being put in the middle of it. As the plan goes now he is going to keep the sled and learn to ride it and do what he wants with it when there funding allows. But she stressed it will be a while for that happens. He called me around 10 this morning and we talked a little I must say in all my years having friends that was a pretty uncomfortable call. Things went well and he is going to take me up on the offer of the riser even tho he said he felt bad about it, He also wanted to spend some time with just a couple of us showing him the basics. I reminded him that's what friends are for and try to Handel it different if an issue ever comes up again like that
but no she doesn't have a sister lol

I don't know what the problem is here, I've been riding my 01 mcat 600 this season until I can fix the doo.. 136 track 2" lugs.. we had a few 4' dumps here in mammoth this season. Nothing put a bigger smile on my face then keeping up with all the big sleds on my little 136, and then having the luxury of a short track when it comes to playing around. I think your friend needs to login to snowest so he can start keyboard sledding and he will get the ego boost he needs when he starts going on about how his little 136 pulled out the stuck 150+ ;)

He is lucky to have good friends like you and a amazing woman who cares for him. And lucky she didnt throw him to the curb after a tantrum like that.

Growing up, I always rode the smaller sled, with more experienced riders. I mean, how else can you learn? Watch others who are better then you.

If he thinks his sled wont go, trade him for a little while. Highmark him, carve and do all the things he is not confident to do and prove to him that sled is fully capable of doing it.

Glad to hear it all worked out and that he's decided to man up about the whole situation.

Glad to hear it worked out and he came to his senses.....at the very least he seemed to be ashamed of the way he acted.

I did spend a lot of time trying to explain the basics and showed him the sled will do just fine that it takes practice. I traded him even for a while. He was really appreciative and said thanks many times until we got back from the mountain. that's when things went south :(
The sled runs fantastic starts first pull. His wife has never done anything like this I lost a lot of sleep last night over it. I know its not the latest greatest but look at it its nothing to be embarrassed about

that looks cool! was it a pain to mount the rev seat on there? nice job.....:beer;

Next time you take him out let him ride yours and show him up on his and then he will understand that the problem is not the sled it is the rider.

That is a nice looking sled and a capable sled. You can do a lot with that sled and he probably just does not realize how much fun he can still have.

You do not need to do anything to fix this situation. You did a good job getting a good sled at a good price.

NBice ride....How much do you want for it..maybe I'll by it!! My second sled was a 98 x, it's still to this day one of my favorite sleds. It is, in my opinion, to this day, still a great powder sled. You need to hop on it, make it rip, and tell him to stop being such an ***.

I really feel sorry for hie wife, sounds like a gem!

Good luck!

O.K. so the guy comes home from his first day one tired beat up s.o.b with scrambled eggs for brains thinking of all the stuff to make it all better instead of the things it took to get to where he was now. 20 yrs. of friendship should not get dumped that easy. Glad to here he got his mind going in the right direction now take him out and thrash his a** in the mountains until he gets it right.

Now he's going to get fantastic make-up sex ... doesn't deserve it, IMO.

When I first started riding I envied people with that sled! I put my time in on older things and finally got one, 3 670s later I'm on a rev but still loved those 670x's as much as any sled I've ever ridden..sledding is sledding, get on or get off

Thanks guys I'm hoping it will stay resolved and that summit above looks great. that's half the fun dreaming what mod you will do next and accomplishing it then see how it is on the hill. He jumped the gun that's for sure. I would have loved to have that sled also for a first sled as many have said.
His wife does control the money and I'm thinking that's the best for him he would be in a lot more trouble than he gets in lol
He wants to keep it and do stuff to it as they can afford I think the sled will treat him right if he just gives it the respect it deserves :)
Cookiecutter I will get ya rept back soon as I'm off my 24hr lock down And thanks again for all the advise from everyone that what makes this place so great :beer;
