Lynx/300LX track on matryx

If a guy was to port a track and got more track speed it would be hard to know if it was due to weight loss or easier air/snow movement through the tunnel.
I'm going to run it right out of the box and go from there. Might end up massaging the driver windows and porting it with a sharp blade, but I'll try and put a ride on it first before modifying it, unless it vibrates badly immediately then I'll open the windows up a bit.

Have you used or had a Cat PC 3”?
Wondering if the vibration compares if you have.

Vibrates, yes. I was going to cut one down to 2.75” and see how that worked. Instead we cut one down to 1.75”.
PC 3 pulls RPM down because the wide paddle makes snow evacuation less efficient with the minimal track clearance. You will need less flyweight.

2023 Lynx Shredder track wasnt that good, not very durable and did trench quite a lot. Basically it was the same track as doo had for 2022. For 2024 Lynx will get same track as 2023 Expert Doo, but 15" wide instead of 16". This same track will be on 2024 154"+ freeride too.

In my experience that 2023 Doo expert track, PowderMax X-Light with full rods, has been the best stock deep snow track ever: Lightweight, low rolling resistance, gets top of the snow very well, fairly durable and decent grip also on harder snow.
