Toy Shed

I just talked to Chad and he is ready for some business. Another number 362-4964 and email is toyshed@linctel.net
Talked to a musher who is going to snowshoe over Huckleberry tonight so should get a snow report. He said there is 12 to 15 inches of new over McCabe between the Whitetail and Seeley Lake. Had a snow slide over Monture Creek road near the parking lot but it has been cleared.

Sled Rentals in Lincoln

The Toy Shed in Lincoln is renting sleds. Go to riding in Lincoln thread for more details.

Here is the scoop because I know you guys will be asking. The Toy shed is renting sleds.
Chad told me he has 10 sleds all of them small CC sleds. 500 and 550's. Most are Polaris. The price is $200 a day. That includes gas and oil. I didn't ask about gear. I can find out if any one needs that info. He has both single and
2-up sleds. Hope this helps.

PLEASE DONT CLIMB, anything that hasnt slid is going to

McCabe

Not really Lincoln information but, rode from Monture Creek by Ovando through McCabe to Kleinschmidt Flats today. Trails are hard and getting off is not a problem. Saw several areas where steep stuff slid off. Snow is still about two feet or more off the trail and easy to ride on top. On a work mission so did not do a lot of off trail. Huckleberry is scheduled to be groomed tomorrrow. I am thinking it will slide if it hasn't already. Water and ice on the county roads with potholes. Gravel starting to show on some roads. So much like mid March early April it is odd.

I have not been up there this year. Friends told me that people were parking on the road rather than in the parking lot last weekend. He is not sure why because the parking lot was plowed. I suspect there is some dirt showing and perhaps muddy because it has been pretty warm here. If I hear for sure what the parking lot is like, I will post. Not much doubt there is snow on the trails around the lot because my friends rode across Copper Creek road to the East and said there is a lot of snow on all of the trails in that area.

biglog87 I might be able to tell you tomorrow night. Am heading that way and if I get there early enough I can run over and look at the parking lot. Wife and I plan on riding Lincoln Saturday and Seely Sunday.

johnsoda you riding in the bowls on Saturday or just riding?
Wife and I will be there but she won't go in the bowls this early.

Looking forward to getting over there for a ride this season....:)

Hope the conditions or a ok for a road trip soon...

Pics from this weekends ride would be great guys!

Ragged

Ragged my brother lives in Newman Lake. I usually come over and we sled for a couple weeks. Probably not going to make it this year. Will get pictures when we ride.

Rode about 50 miles covered most all on the North side. Hard pack every where we rode can go any where you like. I suggest scratchers till they get some powder. The parking lot at Copper is almost to dirt but the rode going to the bowls has lots of snow. Lots of rigs parked there. Saw a Moose yesterday on the river and a bunch of elk today. Can't posts pictures till I get home. Most all is groomed. Going to the PSW club pot luck tonight so may have more info later. Heading to Seely tomorrow so I will report on those conditions also.
