Hitting Ears Friday and Saturday (Dec 28/29)

did have a blast

Bushmaster thanks again for introducing me to powder. I think it could be addictive, just need to pick up one of the jacks.....
You guys were great to ride with and I really appreacite all the help and advice. Rodd I'm pretty sore too. I do have to learn sometime and look forward to being able to ride like you guys do. If that Vec won't do it I'll get me a cat or RMK soon I promise. Great snow Great company and I owe you all a :beer;

When i got my cast last week they said I could get any color I wanted. I picked blue too! Maybe MY true colors are shining through:eek:. Actually, I could have got the XP cast to match my sled, but if you think the "blue" ones are heavy, you should see the XP casts-They're made out of all of the used up DOO belts and use S-Modules for support;) How did today go Bushy?

Excellent powder day. Snowed last night and all day, kinda windy and flat light and made for pokey boondockin. Jeffro launced his Nytro off a boulder and kinda screwed up his back at the end of the day. Sled is fine but the boulder is hurtin. lol. Jim has a story to tell too. Cold as chit and still snowing, hope the sun shines tomorrow! Probably ride early and catch the Vikes in the camper at 2:00. Super bowl bound for sure.... I'll post a few pics up later.

Pics from today

After shoveling out and taking a spin I'll have to revise that snow depth to 20" in the lot. Looks like I'll be "stuck" here for another night. lol

I tried to get Jon to stay another day, but today makes yesterday look calm. lol

I don't think your cursed Jim. Some engineer needs his azz kicked or something. Probably just a valving issue. My sled has a built in whoop/speed deterrant system. lol

Well I spose I should go beat up the hills across the road for awile. Pretty good turnout, but peeps aren't gone from the lot for long today. Hope the sun shines tomorrow!

ears

gettin some wind along with the snow? i'm still waitin for my new track to arrive, should be here yesterday or the day before so we are planning on riding friday but i'll be out sooner if the track shows up.....thanks for all the info, looks like its time to ride.

Windy Yes and Yes

Looks like 15 MPH steady and gusting to a lot! Parking lot is becoming a mess. OHV came by earlier "towing" a rig. He's got a plow on it too. Must be the new state rig for MC lot:eek:

I just realized I'm sore and whipped from the last 3 days and I really don't need to go outside much today :face-icon-small-blu

Blizzard!

10 degrees and 10 more inches of snow. 50 foot visibility at times. Really nasty.

Dave, you're going to run out of places to ride here pretty soon:face-icon-small-ton

Wow - I've ridden in that chit before - sure hope everyone makes back to the comfort of their rigs tonight.....

Good thing you can stay put buddy ;) I want to be you when I grow up / LOL

I AM BACK, 12 hours door to door! Good thing I left as early as I did bushy, took me two hours to get to larime. Snowing and blowing like a mo-fo. Thanks again Jim and Paul for the hospitality, maybe next time you guys can keep up with the old, heavy, slow, short track mountain max:) It does start though, no punt intended:)

I just saw on sled mods shout that a couple of riders are lost on the Ear's in this chit and S&R won't go out in it anymore. It's around 0 but the winds have died some and I wouldn't mind going for a ride to pick em up. Sounds like they know about where their at too. I've got a ton of GPS trails all over this place so I'm not too worried about getting lost. It's not a good night to be out, they'll be lucky to avoid some frostbite. Fire ain't much use when it's blowing over 10 MPH let alone 30.
