Excellent ride today with a good crew. Cold as chit but the sun shone and no wind Base is firmed up ok and a few feet of fresh pow. Didn't need to ride more than a few miles from the lot, but went up to area 52 just to lay down some tracks. Took a noob out on his first real mountain ride and he had a blast. Light snowing and 8 below. Riceburner said it was some of the best pow he's ridden at the Ear's.

It was really pretty good, but I doubt it has anything on Mesa riding. Still in that danger zone where chit is just below the surface, though we only ticked some rocks, but I know where to avoid too. Only carnage was I disintegrated an old belt on the long straight right before MC lot (racing Jon). Nice to completely destroy them rather than put them on the shelf
