Hitting Ears Friday and Saturday (Dec 28/29)

ridin

If my new track shows up I'll be there, it should be here in time, I cut the old attack 20 down for spring ridin and it doesn't work in the powder, got a maverick on ebay for $200, should be an improvement from the spinner 20...i think greg is home for christmas....so an empty space on my trailer if somebody wants to ride up with me from Longmont or meet on the way.. merry christmas

snotel is down again, has been for 3 days, but the ski area is reporting 16" the last two days:D

Lol Mark; I remember the day you took a razor knife to your track.

Bushmaster, I will be driving from Parker on Friday morning to meet you guys. What time do you plan on riding?

I'll be camped in the lot and waiting on Jon to get up there Friday morning, but I'd guess around 10 am or so. What are you driving, i'll keep an eye out.

I will be driving a Red Dodge Ram 1500 with flames on the side with a snowmobile in the bed.

Cool. I guess you already said that once above! durrh. I might ride sunday too if I can still hang on to the bars and the snow is good.

I can only go for the day. The snow should be deep!! We have about 6" in Parker right now. I sold my 03 Ski Doo Summit 800 in the fall and just bought an 03 Polaris 800 RMK Vertical Edge with 600 miles. My first sled with a bar riser, slp pipe and modified clutch. The track has been drilled as well. I rode VP last week and had a blast. I am still getting used to the machine.

I'm in - make sure you guys have enough bacon and eggs for us ;)

Deal, if Jim brings the B&G;) Snotel still dead:( but the ski area showing 19" since yesterday. Wish I had a broke in motor so I could break trail:eek:

You guys are KILLING ME:eek: I'm trying to make a custom mitten for my left hand so I can ride! Easy on the 1" XP comments Jim, or I won't let you use my jack when your Nytro digs in. Good luck with the M7.95 Paul. Little tip for ya, if you think your plugs just need "cleaning out"...... STOP! Be considerate of others and carry a spare belt for the Doo guys, a spare track for the Cat guys, steroids for the Yammy guys, and for the Poo guys..........I guess nothing. The 800 Dragon must be perfect:rolleyes:

We have room in the trailer for you Ike - just show up in Golden Saturday morning.

...and as luck would have it - I got a jack for Christmas :):) I'm a little surprised you'll use a jack on that XP for fear of folding the tunnel.. :) j/k

Paul, Might see you up there on Fri. It's looking good all over these days, and more forecasted for this week.

That is really no joke, I ripped open my tunnel on an older edge last year. The snow was very wet and there were some stress cracks that caused the complete failure. I wish I could join you guys, looks like it will be awesome.

Hope to see ya Rob!

Kid - Gauge is stuck at 50.7" and they had 0.8" of moisture since, so around 60" average up top. I noticed the precip gauge is clicking up again, so it must be snowing again:D

I'll be there in about 5 hours and load up a parking lot report later. Just tuning/breaking in tomorrow though.

Don't they have a special highlift for XP's now; it's made out of old TV antenna mast tubing and bungee cord?

I will leave Jims about 6 am friday morning paul, so that should put me there about 9 or 10 I think. NO need to wait for rings to "seat", I had mine pinned 5 minutes after a rebuild last year over p-day pulling a wheelie the whole way up the hill, then again, it is a yami so it can handle that. You had better wait 500 miles or so.

Jim, if you have space in trailer or truck bed I will probably just through my sled with you to take back sat night. I will take my trailer back with me, need to do some work on it.
